NORTH WAZIRISTAN: A US drone attack has killed at least 17 people in Zoi, Datta Khel district of North Waziristan on Friday, reported Express News.
According to initial reports, a remotely piloted drone aircraft fired six missiles at a house.
At least two people were reported to have been injured in the attack.
Islamabad has repeatedly denounced drone attacks on its tribal areas as counterproductive to the overall fight against terror, and that such unilateral actions violate the country’s sovereignty and provoke militancy.
Human rights activists have also condemned drone strikes for the high number of civilian casualties. The Obama administration claims drones are important in taking out al Qaeda linked militants.
Clerics in North and South Waziristan, in protest against the drone strikes, had announced of boycotting polio vaccination campaigns in the areas

I think the solution to these drone strikes is for USA and Pakistan to jointly conduct these strikes.

Both countries should sign off before a Drone strike is conducted.

That requires painful trust building.

6 missiles on a single house??? Thats definitely an overkill and I can bet this attack would have definitely consumed a couple of innocents.

Yeah man your wright however I don't think US is ever gonna disscuss their strategies with Pak well atleast not in this war . Every second day I hear a senior US official on news crying how Pak is helping the Haqqani network. So overall the only solution but still a distant dream.

I got news from extremely *** credible source... that there is soo many points of Supply line open in which American also threatened Pakistan Army officers and Govt officials for exposing all the accounts in Int banks + Money laundry and Swiss accounts.... so the begerat fauji leaders and govt agree without getting anything! so now drone strike again start!
