Isn't it ironic that you say this? Till 1990s PLAN was not even a force compared to the Chinese army due to defence budget constraints for the navy. Only since late 1990s you have started to grow. Whereas Indian Navy incorporates advanced technologies from various countries in their ships. Also India has an advanced Aircraft carrier operational force which makes it easier for Indian Navy to become a true blue water navy whereas China will take years before you will have a level of mature blue water naval force. Throwing money will not help as it takes years of experience to achieve that.

You guys were the ones who is claiming that India has tribal boats which would mean you have superior naval force. I do understand our capabilities and I do not under estimate our rivals. I showed you the mirror about your PLAN. Nuclear submarine is one component of the blue water capabilities and less complex one. The most complex one is operating the aircraft carrier group and you guys don't even have one at this time. And I told you it is going to take time for you to achieve a level of maturity. While I do not want to sound arrogant, India already has 1 aircraft carrier group, will acquire 1 more from Russia and 1 more indigenous one in the next few years but we have an operational AC force. It is like us taking to water like ducklings whereas you will have all fancy equipments but will take years for you to achieve the efficiency which India will have as a true blue water navy.
