Egypt can't do that unless it wants to be viewed as the aggressor and therefore have its military aid which it receives from US cut off. Any indication of war from Egypt's side will alert Washington to cut off military supplies to Egypt.



Really? That's news to me.

About the Latin American countries thingy, I was being sarcastic of Israel's continued attacks on neighbouring countries due to so-called security threats.
Egypt can't increase troops in Sinai without Israel accepting, but treaties are subject to change. If Israel wants security in Sinai then they should allow us to increase them. But they don't because they want to make good use of that fact to occupy Sinai in the near future.
Also, as far as I know, if US cuts off aid from Egypt then it's violating the Egypt-Israel peace treaty thus the treaty will be void.
Mercenary, you forgot the wars of 1982, 2000 and 2006. Also, I don't think any nation will easily use nuclear weapons in any war. It's only used when there's a direct threat to the country's existence, as a last resort of protection.
If, this is real deal and not just a trick done by Israel and SCAF to let SCAF stay in power, then I think we should look for good regional friends. Iran is a good example. We also must find other arms suppliers as soon as possible. I don't think Russia will ever say "no" to an increased Russian influence in the middle east.
Also, I really think it'll be more costly for Israel to go into a war with Egypt than just find other gas suppliers. That's still supposing that cancelling the gas deal is not another SCAF trick to stay in power.
For those who don't know, SCAF = Supreme council of armed forces, the current rulers of Egypt.

The clean-up of Japanese legacy from Korea was delayed because of those ex-Imperial Army officers running the ROK military(which in turn ran the government) as generals didn't see any other model; they were determined to turn Korea into another Japan.

There's a reason 'Korean' can be so candid about South Korea's ripoff model: He's not Korean so he doesn't feel the shame. The irony is that Taiwan used the same 'shameless copy', but 'Korean' is gonna be a lot more reluctant to admit that.

I hope no war happens now. We are not ready yet. In the next 10 years we will be able to take on the world but now we should focus on building our countries.
And Israel has no hope of winning the war without resorting to Nuclear weapons. We are not the same as we were 30 years ago or even 10 years ago. Israel knows that its chances of winning any war with Arabs is close to none that is why they resorted to nuclear weapons which is their only edge in the fight.

Besides, 40 years ago actually, Arabs did win only that division within Arab ranks (as usual in modern history) caused disputes, anger, dissatisfaction and a few other issues. I mean, Iraqis went to stabilize the Syrian front, but they had a rivalry probably some skirmishes with Syria earlier. I read that Iraqis were not even provided maps of the battlefield by the Syrian regime. Then, Syrian aircrafts strafed Iraqi armour as far as I can recall, such was the confusion, lack of coordination and lack of unity amongst Arab troops. Nevertheless, the victory can not be denied.

At the same time, the accumulated lessons from all these years of disunity and fractious politics should also be learned. I write this as a well wisher of all Muslims worldwide, unlike most people (mostly infidels) who are either jealous of Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries, or think you are inferior so there is no need to treat you with respect. Their criticisms are baseless while I only point to possible areas of improvement for the wider benefit of the Muslim Ummah with total confidence that other Muslim members can also politely correct me if they disagree or they think I am wrong.
