The US will cut military Aid to Egypt on request of israel, if not now then certainly later, there is no doubt about that.

Egypt should cooperate with China and maybe Russia (not really sure about Russians either, i read they gave israel codes to Syrian S-300's), Pakistan, Brazil, and Iran.

But it depends on Egypt who they want to deal with.

Russia did that due to Israel and Georgia drones, I believe Iranian not Syria. China is very involved in Africa why not let them in ? correct my problem is being dependent on one country isn't smart thats what the Mubarak government did.

They compromised Egypt's security by depending on US for the large portion of their defence equipment.

It was due to the failures of Egypt with Soviet Weaponry but that has changed should look back at Russia.

Israel is afraid of Mubarak like regimes falling.

And my greatest fears are, that this could be just a joint SCAF-Israeli joke to tell the Egyptian people to calm down claiming that there could be a war coming. I, as an Egyptian, strongly doubt that SCAF will hand over the power that easily.

You're totally correct. I mean that, while we receive the aid from US, we can still rely on other arm exporters as Russia and even try to produce our own arms. US aid is free aid, so why say no to it? If the US aid at anytime proves to be a pressuring card on Egypt by USA, then we really don't need that aid that much.

For arms, the west isn't really the only arms producer you know. While of course America's weapon technology is the best, that doesn't mean that other equipment is garbage.
As for cutting off the aid, the significant effect will be on the military only with little to no influence on the economy. The aid isn't received in cash, it's mostly received in forms of weapons.

This is why the Protests are continuing, all Junta's fall and so will they.

Correct building a Domestic Industry is seriously needed, and looking to other countries, also I'm in favor of Trade deals that will benefit egypt from the EU or USA then Aid.

Correct the Gulf Arabs have mostly USA weaponry and in the event they cut the parts and supply you will start to see their expensive weaponry rust.

I agree on that Including Egypt not Join the GCC it will be again under Saudi and Qatars Influence thus even weaker, a broken Libya is next door and egypt could influence that not to mention Syria Lebanon.

Mubarak had Aid for 30 years yet it did not change anything more then 30 % of Egyptians are illiterate, Corruption is rampant the economy grew but people got poorer, I'm not in favor of aid but trade.

Pakistan has China to back it and supply with Weapons in case of a war so you guys are covered. Influencing a Broken Libya maybe, Yes it is necessary on the other parts to.

And they cut the Aid other countries will seek Influence in Egypt, Seriously believe the EU or the USA should give trade deals to help rather then the aid if Egypts Leaders were smart.

You cannot Change the will of a people just because you don't like doesn't matter if extremist or not but natural changes like these must occur to build a modern state, trying to suppress radicalism didn't help.
