They are the best at making the whole world ullu. Thats why I think Pak foreign policy makers should not go up against India on the SCO, their biggest victory would be to keep distancing themselves from India, don't make any comment on whether or not they are for or against India's inclusion. If Pakistan objects to India, India would object to them, the rest of the SCO would be like "Oh man these two are a headache" and not include both of us. India already doesn't really want to be a part of the SCO, Pak does want to be a part of it.

There shouldn't be any mixing of India's inclusion with Pakistan's. They are separate issues. India wants to join SCO? Welcome.
Although, India's foreign policy is better than Pakistan's. I would not give credit to its foreign policy team for all the things you are attributing.

India is only large state that is has no affiliation to any group. So everyone wants India on their side. Given its economic success off late and talks in the international media of India's future potential the courting has intensified. Most countries including US, Russia, Iran, Israel, EU and Arab wants India on their side. Even China too is in its own way attracting India.

Darling yr reasoning is flying off tengent or facts.
For, Pakistan is known to do this natural thing to placate its masses (awam) to collect votes. And Pakistan has been doing it in the UNO, SAARC, OIC and what not, but now that the world knows what Pakistan is, after OBL fiasco, they are downplaying such things, and the result being zardari coming to India....
Zardari's India visit raises eyebrows in Pakistan
The Hindu : News / National : Zardari's India visit raises eyebrows in Pakistan

As the advance party for President Asif Ali Zardari's day-long visit to India began packing its bags on Thursday, the government found itself once again on the defensive; warding off criticism that this was yet another indication of the Pakistan Peoples Party's `pro-India' tilt that had resulted in Kashmir being put on the back burner.

After OBL fiasco, Pakistan has lost International credeblity, which is being repaired here....

India's strategic interests are with INDIA. We don't care for the NATO of Asia or the NATO of Europe. If it benefits us we are in. If it does not we are not interested. Simple policy.

Although most Indians would be flattered but to be honest it is mostly the leverage that a large country like India can exploit unlike its smaller counter parts including Pakistan. India is too big for anyone to just ignore it.
