just some thoughts for flyboy. i can understand why you would love iranian or saudi football. they play beautifully and creatively. Korea on the otherhand, has a history of playing the longball. basically korea would have a lot of guys defending and punt the ball far to the front hoping that somehow the lone guy upfront will get it and do something with it. very boring and frustrating to watch. But when you are faced with a better team, this is often, the only solution. You see Saudi Arabia being number one for four years and then during world cup being sunk. why? what can saudi midfielders do when opposition midfielders are just all better on a man per man basis? you cant move the ball up at all, get it stolen, and concede a goal when defence is all disorganized.
We all got to start somewhere and i think this type of football is ok too.
