Without going off topic , i can't help but point out that this sort of occurrings happen and intelligence agencies even as powerful as the ISI cannot find out if there is a criminal hiding in a country of 200 million people.

If Argentina , Brazil , Hungry ,Serbia can't be blamed for not being able to find Nazis and other mass muderers , Pakistan must not be blamed for not being able to find OBL either.

People who have investigated the lie have either been murdered in cold blood or imprisoned, that too in the same countries who are the so called champions of Human Rights, among which the right of freedom of speech is a basic inalienable human right but has been denied in most Western countries.

Nazi war criminal arrested in Budapest insists he was "only following orders"

Laszlo Csatary, the most wanted surviving Nazi war crimes suspect, insisted he was “following orders” when organising the deportation of 16,000 Jews to their deaths in Auschwitz.

The Hungarian authorities arrested Laszlo Csatary on Tuesday after coming under international pressure to prosecute the 97-year old man who has been under investigation and surveillance for 10 months.
He is being held in custody and "has been charged with committing war crimes".
The former police chief, who has been a fugitive since 1948, remains unapologetically anti-Semitic but is protesting his innocence, said Tibor Ibolya, the Hungarian state prosecutor.
“One of his arguments in his defence is that he was obeying orders,” Mr Ibolya said.
Mr Ibolya said that Csatary was still an anti-Semite and did not show any regret over charges of overseeing the 1944 deportation of 15,700 Jews to Nazi extermination camps.

”His statement and his sentences show how he relates to people belonging to a certain religion,” he said. “He doesn’t relate to certain fellow human beings in what we would consider to be a normal way. If you think about 1944 and why he is a suspect, I think it’s clear what I mean.”
Csatary tops the Nazi-hunting Simon Wiesenthal Centre's most-wanted list of the Nazi war criminals and was last weekend discovered to have been living peacefully in Budapest for 17 years.
The alleged war criminal was found last weekend in rented flat, under his own name, in a smart area of Hungary's capital after fleeing Canada when he was unmasked by war crimes investigators in 1995.
Csatary fled Europe after the war after being sentenced to death "in absentia" in 1948 by a Czechoslovakian court for crimes committed while he was police chief from 1941 in the Slovakian city of Kosice, then part of Hungary.
While in the town, known as Kassa in Hungarian and Kaschau in German, he was renowned for his brutality, beating women with a whip he carried on his belt and forcing them to dig holes with their bare hands.
During the war, he organised deportations of thousands of Jews to death camps in Nazi occupied Eastern Europe and is accused of complicity in the killing of at least 16,000 people.
Csatary has officially been under investigation by the Hungarian authorities since 11 September 2011 and is locally reported as having been under police surveillance since April.
But prosecutors have warned that bringing him to trial might take time.
"The investigation has to explore an event remote in both time and place - it took place 68 years ago in an area that now falls under the jurisdiction of another country - which raises several investigative and legal problems," said a statement.
"A significant part of the investigation is dedicated to finding those living victims who might speak directly about events."

Csatary case highlights Hungarian dilemma

As suspected Nazi war criminal Laszlo Csatary has been arrested in Budapest, Hungarian society continues to struggle with anti-Semitism and ongoing investigation of crimes against Hungarian Jews in World War II.

It's an embarrassing situation, wrote journalist Miklos Gabor in the liberal Budapest daily Nepszabadsag, regarding the recent arrest of suspected Nazi war criminal Laszlo Csatary.

Reporters from a British tabloid newspaper traveled to the Hungarian capital, ambushed a 97-year-old man at his apartment door and photographed him in his underwear, then presented him as a high-ranking Nazi war criminal in hiding. Will Hungary now become famous as a country that hides murderers, Gabor asks anxiously - after all, the wanted man was able to live undisturbed for decades in Canada.

Gabor isn't the only one expressing doubt in the Csatary case. The Hungarian public is also quite divided about the way in which the Csatary was discovered and represented in last Sunday's edition of the British tabloid The Sun, as the "most wanted Nazi war criminal in the world." Reporters had previously tracked him to his Budapest apartment.

'False and misleading'


Historian Laszlo Karsai, himself a descendant of Holocaust survivors, and an expert on Holocaust history, said in Hungarian media that about 200,000 Hungarian soldiers and police officers were involved in the deportation of Jews, or participated in crimes against them, during World War II - much like Csatary. To now present the old man as a high-ranking war criminal is false and misleading, he said.

Csatary, who was arrested on Wednesday and subsequently placed under house arrest, is alleged to have been responsible for the 1944 deportation of 15,700 Jews to Auschwitz from the local transit camp in Kosice, in what is now eastern Slovakia. He was working at the time as the town's chief of police. In 1948, Csatary was sentenced to death in absentia. He had fled to Canada after the war, and lived there undisturbed for many decades.

In the mid-1990s, the Canadian authorities revoked his Canadian citizenship and began deportation procedures for his alleged war crimes. In 1997, before the official deportation, Csatary moved to Budapest, where he lived undisturbed - until recently.

Idle Hungarian authorities?

For years, Csatary was on the Simon Wiesenthal Center's list of most-wanted war criminals. The center's director in Jerusalem, Efraim Zuroff, apparently told Hungarian authorities about Csatary several times in the past, most recently in April of this year. In recent days, Zuroff has accused the Hungarian authorities of being idle for years.

Speaking to the press, Budapest prosecutor Tibor Ibolya rejected these allegations on Wednesday. He said the investigation had been hampered by the fact that these were crimes dating back nearly 70 years, and which had taken place outside of present-day Hungary. In addition, witnesses in Israel needed to be found, and Csatary himself lived for a long time in Canada.

Not the only one


In a similar case last year, the accused died before the end of legal proceedings. Sandor Kepiro, a former Hungarian military officer allegedly involved in the Novi Sad massacre in January 1944, was uncovered in Budapest in 2006. His trial began in May 2011, ending in an acquittal. An appeal was launched, but Kepiro died last September before the trial came to an end.

In another case, in which former soldier Karoly Zentai was living in Australia, the Australian judiciary has caused the delay. Zentai, now 90, allegedly killed a Hungarian Jew in 1944 because he was not wearing the Star of David. Hungary requested Zentai's extradition in 2005, but the Australian courts have yet to surrender the accused.


Hungary's difficulties with anti-Semitism

Beyond these lengthy legal procedures, Hungarian society has also found it difficult to distance itself from the crimes committed against Hungarian Jews during World War II, as well from the anti-Semitism in Hungary's interwar period.

Miklos Horthy, Hungary's head of state at that time, was a notorious anti-Semite, and was jointly responsible for the deportation of more than 400,000 Jews to Auschwitz from May to July 1944. His reputation has lately been undergoing a rehabilitation - statues and plaques dedicated to the man have recently been set up in several places in Hungary.

And at the end of May, Laszlo Kover, then-president of the Hungarian Parliament, attended a memorial ceremony for the writer Jozsef Nyiro, who had been affiliated with the Arrow Cross Party - Hungary's branch of the National Socialist Party, which was active until 1945. Kover has since been declared persona non grata in Israel, and the Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel recently renounced a state award he received in 2004 in protest.

On the other hand, Hungary's new president, Janos Ader, in office since May, has taken a strong stand against anti-Semitism. In early June, he sharply condemned an anti-Semitic attack on Budapest's former chief rabbi, Jozsef Schweitzer, also visiting him in his apartment.

Ader is currently on a trip in Israel. At a memorial ceremony at Yad Vashem, he acknowledged that "during the Holocaust, the Hungarian state did not protect Hungarian Jews." Which continues to be disputed by many in present-day Hungary.

the europeans were willing to stain their own character an committed war crimes to expel the jews from their homeland, and after such monumental effort from the europeans you would think the jews had learned never to bother them again or at least respect for the european endeavor. but no, tenacious and pernicious bugs they are, they came right back to budapest and got themselves blown up and created another crisis.

If all of what the NAZI's allegedly did is true then why are the supporters of the holocaust industry so insecure when someone conducts an independent investigation to refute their claims? Why do they resort to arresting the people who have beliefs contrary to what they have been propagating for years? What about murdering intellectuals because they publish books refuting the holocaust?? Are they hiding something that they are afraid enough to kill people if they don't believe their lies??

If we go by your logic then the USA committed genocide of Japanese Americans by rounding them up and putting them in internment camps up until the war was officially over, also thousands of Japanese Americans were forced to migrate to other countries. Is that a genocide?

The fact that you yourself stated that there were refugees pouring into UK and USA confirms that Jews were allowed to leave Europe and there was no genocide.

The number of Jews "holocausted" by Hitler in the "death camps", particularly the auschwitz camp, has been constantly changing throughout history.

There was no near complete wipeout of Jews from mainland Europe. There were more than 100,000 full as well as half Jews serving in the German armed forces.

Secondly, Jews were allowed to leave Europe and Germany along with all of their wealth, this fact is proved by the 'Transfer Agreement' between Nazi Germany and Jewish world leaders.

i am sure a lot of jews died at auschwitz, but shouldn't they install the memorial plaques at the former nazi-soviet border? after all, there were no crimes against jews until nazis crossed the soviet border. what arrogance and delusion of self-importance made the jews think auschwitz got anything to do with auschwitz?
