The awareness campaigns, educating sex workers, NGOs and governmental efforts are paying off. India once was the subject of AIDS epidemics and now its the subject of effect of these efforts in combating an epidemics.

Huge publicity campaigns by GOI and work by NGOs has definitely increased the awareness of AIDS.
Shabhana's dialogue "AIDS choone se nahi failta". Good one.
