Why do you guys think Isreal need nukes? Why wasn't it sanctioned when it developed nuclear weapons? Instead it is given more than 6-8 million aid every year, and everything to the latest war equipments.

Israel nukes are an ultimate source of power dis-balance in middle east. USA and Israel both know this fact too well. Iran nukes would spill that loaded cart in the strait of hurmuz. Double standards are the name of the game. This is what the UNO is all about. And remember you can not question Israel's nuke program, even. It is anit-semitism and open threat to international community.

Israel didn't develop their nucleaur weapons. France gave them the knowlegde to build them.

The reason for acquiring those weapons was that Israel would eventually succumb to Arab conventional forces, which would be numerically superior. Like in the 1973 war, that the Israeli's would have lost without American and European military support.

Hence, nuclear weapons would ensure the territorial integrity of the Jewish state.

I am not sure why should Isreal not have a N Weapon? the first reason being all surrounding nations were hostile, but I hope the situations is now changed, Egypt has accepted the Jewish State, almost all nations except Iran, Lebanon have problems with the existance of Isreal. while Iran has an ambition to persue N weapons, why not Isreal. when one has and the other does not, only the there will be in-stability. If both of them have, they know that the situation is a stale mate. No one will ever think of using it when they have it.
