Pakistan and Saudi Arabia hold military exercises
MULTAN (November 29 2006): Joint military exercises of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia called "Alsamsam" (A sharp sword) has begun in Kherpur Tamewali (Bahawalpur) area. An ISPR spokesman said here on Tuesday that Royal Saudi Land Force (RSLF)'s a mechanical unit, Pakistan Army's armoured, infantry, air defence aviation and air force were taking part in the exercises. These exercises would continue for three weeks to exchange professional skill, experience and technology. |

Bahawalpur is an excellent choice to stage such exercises as the landscape and climate very much resembles Palestina.
I guess Saudi forces will only been seen in action in and around Palestina if she was ever to engage a war. |
