50 Pakistani Zainebiyoun Brigade fighters killed in Turkish strikes in Syria

Until state declare such recruitment valid, these are terrorists..Whether they fought for ISIS, FSA or Iranian regime. Glad someone of them didn't explode in any city of Turkey. However, this org should be banned. What if some of its member do something in Gulf, or in US etc...
Wrong . until the state ban these recruitment then there is no problem with it .and I didn't saw Pakistan government forbid it.

So you would have no problem if we recruited Iranian sunnis to fight our wars?

You are using a sectarian card & Pakistani blood for your proxy wars.
Well till iran government forbid it I can't see why it must be a problem.

KARACHI: Up to 50 Pakistani fighters have been killed in military action by the Turkish army and Syrian regime forces in Syria’s last major rebel stronghold in the northwest of the country, two Pakistani security officials said this week.

Fighting has escalated dramatically in recent days in Idlib in northwest Syria, where Turkey has sent thousands of troops and military vehicles in the last month to counter Syrian government forces’ advances in the last remaining bastion held by rebels. On the opposite side in Syria’s nine-year conflict is Russia, which supports President Bashar Assad and has also carried out airstrikes in recent days.

On Thursday, Turkey and Russia agreed to a cease-fire deal after talks in Moscow to contain a conflict that has displaced nearly a million people in three months.

“The number of those [Pakistanis] killed is more than 50,” a security official told Arab News on condition of anonymity as he was not authorized to speak to the media about the issue.

A second official, from Pakistani intelligence, confirmed that 50 Pakistanis had been killed.

A poster showing 47 Pakistani militiamen associated with Zainebiyoun Brigade is being shared by Zainebiyoun on its Facebook page on March 1, 2020 with an Urdu caption that reads “today is Shabb-e-Jumma (Night of Juma) Surah Fateh for the martyrs of Zainebiyoun).

Pakistan’s foreign office did not respond to Arab News queries when contacted to comment on this news.

The deceased likely belong to Zainebiyoun Brigade, a militant group that was placed on the US Treasury’s financial blacklist in January 2019 and comprises Pakistani Shias fighting in Syria and Iran.

According to media reports, Zainebiyoun Brigade has over 800 Pakistanis fighting in Syria. The group’s fighters are allegedly trained by Iran’s Quds Force, the military unit responsible for projecting Iran’s influence via proxies across the Middle East.

“Following the clashes in Syria’s Idlib [region], 21 members of Fatemiyoun and Zainebiyoun brigades were martyred,” Iran’s Hawzah News Agency reported on Sunday, adding that 18 of the deceased belonged to the Zainebiyoun Brigade.

“This is not the first incident where Pakistanis have been killed in Syria,” Pakistani security analyst Muhammad Amir Rana said, adding that Pakistani militants fighting for both Daesh and Assad’s forces, had been killed in Syria in the past. He said many Pakistanis had also been arrested upon their return from Syria but could not provide an exact number of fatalities.

Coffin of Naver Khan, a Pakistani militiaman of Zainebiyoun Brigade, is being taken for funeral at Qom city of Iran on March 1, 2020.

Defense analyst Brig. (R) Mahmood Shah said a small number of Sunni militants had also gone to Syria to join Daesh.

“People from the Shia community have religious affinity with Iran, Iraq and Syria and sacred places over there, so their number may be high,” Shah told Arab News. “With war intensifying in the coming days, more deaths [of Pakistanis] are expected.

Last month, Pakistani police claimed to have arrested an important member of the Zainebiyoun brigade from the port city of Karachi.

when religion takes presence over nationalism, then people forgets to differentiate between a fight for a good reason...

Iran gives them job. Yes, employment and fixed salary for them and their families. No one forced them. They willingly accepted to fight for their religious ideas. They get money on top of it.

Wether right or wrong, that is another discussion.
You mean they can just buy a first class ticket and land in Damascus, head out to the local supermarket, purchase guns and ammo and take a cross country bus to the battlefield.....

Pakistani citizens should not join militaries of other countries without consent of their country. It is a very low shot which Iran did to recruit our people for cannon fodder.

Use your own citizens in your wars.
Exactly which law in Pakistan say that.
Why it was not problem when Saddam used Pakistani pilots ?

So these Pakistanis who went to Syria to fight Isis and other terrorist groups are sectarians?

Do you think people from other nation fight in a war that is nothing to the country that belongs to??

Good stuff

Don't become mercenaries fighting abroad unless it's in Pakistan's interests

Spot on.

Violence is sole domain of state and its authorized "affiliates" serving the national interests. No issue what so ever, if Shias want to go to ME and protect their religious sites but it has be under the approval and authorization of the state, and completely under the guidance/control of Islamic republic of Pakistan. No foreign entity should have any control over our citizens.

Now we find ourselves in this embrassing situation that our citizens are pitted against our major ally. @Baba Google any thoughts?

cleaning the Garbage .... not sorry for them, anyone that goes to fight for another country or any SECT , is a traitor to Pakistan and Islam .. Islam is a unified religion , Shia/Sunni/Ahmadi/Agha Khani/this and that all are man made trash , Islam is what Muhammad Pbuh brought to this world given to him by Allah .
Qadiyanis Are not muslim, according to the teaching of Islam, according to Quran, According to Hadees/Sunnah, according to Consensus of Islamic Expersts/Scholars, and definitely not muslims according to constitution of Pakistan

I would like to say a deep hearted thanks to my Turkish brothers. Kill them all. If they ever returned back, they will start killing people on sectarian basis here in Pakistan. Bettet finish these cockroaches over there.

Apparently if you dare fight against the Khalifat, you are sectarian. Or you are against Pakistan’s interests and deserve to die.
Apparently that is how things work in a nation state, if you went to fight a war for other country and which is against the interest of your homeland you are a traitor. If you do not like it fine, but you have no right to go against national security issues/policies.

Too bad there were no Liwa Fatimyoun fighters among them. When peace comes, let’s make a deal Pakistani brothers we will take care of all TTP inside Afghanistan, and in return we request that you give us Intel and training training to go after the Liwa Fatimyoun fighters inside Afghanistan.
