Featured KARACHI: The body of former Corps Commander Karachi was recovered from a vehicle in Do Darya

Anyone know how far he was from his house or what his destination being on that road? Being that age he left us operating a vehicle. Pray for an end as simple and active like this. I hope his daughter is taken care of. Thank you for your service and may the ultimate gates open for you far and wide.

If I am not wrong then he was the corps commander Karachi who took control of Karachi Airport and allowed Musharraf's plane to land in 12th Oct 1999.

Yes. He looks very humble person from the pic. May God mercy on him.

Inna lillah wa inna ilayhi raaji'uun

What I don’t understand is why we don’t respect the deceased ? Is it so important to show their dead body ? Who would like his body being shown after his death ? Do we have some concerns about his family if they see him in this position ? We really don’t have any respect for other @Sifar zero @“Major Adil Raja”

I understand and agree with your concerns, But Indians will try to distort the facts of the incident and I think that's why authorities made those pis public. Perception is bigger than reality especially in this age of social media.

80 years old retired Pak army general died due to cardiac arrest while driving which is not that uncommon for his age but yet we have to indulge in these heartless practices of showing off his body. Such is the nature of today's 5th Gen warfare.

May he rest in PEACE.

i understand your point of view but still don’t agree with. The indians are used to distort everything, even this they will say that we have displaced his body in this position. Let’s them distort what they want, but we should not disrespect our owns ( and others too).

what a horse shit. how convenient that he had a heart attack and car went into the river..

Rest in eternal peace General. Thank you for your services and humbleness.

There are two types of officers. Ones who die on roads, others make people to die on roads.

Inna Lilahay Wa Inna Alaihay Rajion, he seems like a fine gentlemen :(

For people who are not residents of Karachi,

Du Darya is a nick name given to coastal area of DHA Phase 8, at one given time it used to be totally deserted and was given the name "Devils Point" because a lot of shady activities used to happen there and few horror stories were spread to keep general public away after sunset. When you are standing at the coast you will notice two colors of water merging thus the name DU DARYA, in normal days a lot of fishermen sit on the rocks and catch their fishes and on weekends its a crowd infested area and a hugely popular dating and making out point.

Right now it's an area which is slowly growing in population, famous Nueplex Cinema is situated 5 minutes drive from it as well as Creek Vista Apartments, Emaar's huge complex is on the very same road and many famous restaurants like Kolachi are now located there.

Few years back when the place was not that much crowded it used to be a huge underground street racing and gathering point, illegal bike and car races still happen in the vicinity but the cream crowd now only comes on odd times and their meets are communicated on private WhatsApp groups.
