The Afghan Army which was trained and paid by the coalition forces for many years simply does not have the guts to face its Kins in the Taliban ranks. Daily dozens of videos surface on Social Media showing ANDSF simply surrendering or leaving their HQs peacefully. In the process of vacating the premises, the ANDSF have left US hardware worth tens of millions of dollars to the Taliban.

Afghans are fiercely independent, the reason they were never ruled by a foreign colonizing power, and is a graveyard of empires.

And Afghanistan will be very important in wars at the end game...

Agree, but the Taliban are a different breed, mostly born in Pakistan. Most of their cadres are non Afghanis as well. Let's see how the future pans out. Nevertheless, there is no harm in daydreaming.

well most of these ANA were fighting for a pay cheque. That's it. now most of the warlords have gotten fat of the yanks and have moved out of the country and living abroad.

so there really aren't many warlords left. With the capture of the tajik border there wont be any tajik interference either.

things look grim for the northern monkeys. I suppose its time to move back to tajiki ville.

Reports of a mysterious militia popping up in Herat and vowing to fight with the governmnt against the taliban.

The US has finally left humiliated as everyone suspected. The free for all begins.

Iran is probably going to start leveraging the fatemyoon and other afghans to carve out a pro Iranian statelet in the east. While the pro-pakistani taliban will probably take kabul and wipe out any pro-indian figures.

India failed in its quest to turn afghanistan into another front against pakistan. Pakistan will be the biggest winnner here
