JF-17 Block III Multirole Fighter

JFT III was first confirmed by CAC official in dubai airshow 2011

Now today it is confirmed by PAF official like Pshamim

The development work on Dual Seat version has already started and will be a Block-III production. Look for a significant change in engine and very advanced avionics in the Block-III

So far the existance of JFT Block III is confirmed and induction is supposed to be in 2016

As the block II is only 6 months far from reality..work on block III is scheduled to start

What do you people think what goodies apart from engine and avionics the block III will have?

AESA
NEw engine with TVC
5th generation avionics
redesigned airframe
e.g Diamond nose
reduced RCS
IRST
PL-21D as Primary BVR or indegenous BVR
ECM like Spectra

and many more unknown goodies

at max we can make it as stealthy as Eurofighter or Rafale at best

for a complete stealth design like f-22/j-20/Pak-fa we will have to start a new project with stealth design from start

stealth without internal Bay is useless

Aren't these features part of Block-II ? May be Engine could be replaced in block-III and every existing feature gets improved but in my opinion everything which we find in block-II would be more or less the same in block-III.

OR - This diamond shape nose is actually block-III and we are only being "happy fools" considering its block-II.

nothing about airframe changes
bt the development is started

with the passage of time we may get more and more info

the features we used to hear about block II are now shifted to block 3 like AESA,new engine,more hardpoints,diamond shape news,IRST

the block II upgrade over block 1 are

New ECM/data link
IFR
changes in klj-7 like adding more modes and possible more range too
and new weapons integration

apart from this no other upgrade is revealed so far for the JFT block II

Now the dream is converting into reality soon . This is non stop progress,After BlockII,and BlockIII We might see production of JF17 BLOCK IV(I.e Silent stealth features with new Chinese Engine).

Yes cuz we need to store weapons within the internal bay. Plus we have to increase the size of the aircraft so that we can create such internal weapons bay...The change is size will bring everything new or of different standard than the basic design was.....

Chinese member tell that AESA for their fighters into production then why China need 6 years to develop AESA for JF17 ??
