If god is with me and you're against me, i assure you, you'll pay big for the even slight scratch. There cant be two truth right_
Thats all folks!:meeting:

These growth rate will further zooms to new heights due to the next plan period and growing economy

That's Grt......Sikkim Tops

Sikkim have the low base its good to know that the development is reaching to the remotest part of the country.

But look at the Maharastra with the GDP of $224 billion it is growing @ 7.67 for last 5 years :woot:

UP with GDP of $128.090 have grown @ 6.95 each year since last 5 years. :woot:

AP with the GDP of $123.560 billion have grown @ 8.29 each year since last 5 years.
:woot:

WHY POST IT HERE ,
When you guys do know that some sino mentally challenged trolls or cirrtrolls will join and derail this thread

If our late CM Dorgi kandu didn't died in that accident then I am sure we would done better but still 7th position is not that bad.

I doubt Andra Pradesh will have same growth rate in future.... due to politics and nasty politicians....

The NE suerly have a good momentum. Perhaps the govt should invest more in the highways and rail connectivity to these states.

20% for Sikkim..:woot: relatively small and backward states doing great, where as big ones are doing average or bad, is this a case for more smaller states?

A low base helps a lot, in those cases the only way to move is up. Other larger or "less backward" (I hate saying that) states have already expreinced their extremely high "boom" periods these rates end eventually and then it is about maintaining a steady and stable growth rate.

People need to understand that making big, better developed states grow at 7% is difficult compared to making small, states with a lower base grow at a high %.

Buddy, Sikkim is anything but backward. True that some areas don't have electricity here still (isolated villages and far off mountain communities in north Sikkim), but we are coming up fast.

The only curb that we have is that since we are a Himalayan state, we cannot have heavy industries polluting our already sensitive ecology here.

The reason why states like Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka are such economic powerhouses is because they don't have a sensitive ecology to protect, have a lot of land and very strong development oriented state governments.

Even if we want, we cannot have industries here as it will ruin the whole tranquility factor that is the biggest selling point of tourism in Sikkim.

People who are fed up of bustling life of metropolitan cities, come here for peace, purity and calm.

We don't want that to go..

Pawan Kumar Chamling doing a great work for Sikkim.

He's one of the best CMs you can get today.. Not yet at the caliber of Narendra Modi or the late Dorjee Khandu, but still far. far better than others. I'd rate him as the second best preferred CM of the country. :)
