I will vote for Modi in the next election. Broblem ? :D

None. None whatever. Except that you have nowhere indicated that you live inh Gujarat, to be able to vote there.

This sounds like another amiable Sanghi brag, full of hot air, effective only on the Net, or when in an armed mob facing defenseless and outnumbered victims.

Unless your icon has invited you to be a guest voter.

Another Indian media stunt. They are still fighting. lol.

Sad that you think that the rancid, rabid lot of social misfits here represent mainstream Indian opinion. But it suits you to think so, doesn't it? getting the thanks of a leading Internet Muslim for your little barb is not a coincidence, is it?

Yaar.....Go and see the latest NDTV poll specially the Questions who would you like as the next Prime Minister and would you accept Modi as your prime Minister.

The fact is Modi enjoys a massive popularity among the urban lower middle class/middle class and that is a fact. They are not those coffee sipping jholla walas who might keep shedding crocodile tears for one-in-a-long-list of communal riots. They want good governance, 24*7 electricity, good roads, basic services and will vote for the anyone who delivers them. Calling them 'rabid, rancid, social misfits' for that is totally unwarranted. Those so called misfits may have equally choicy adjectives for others.

That means I will vote for BJP. Do I need to explain everything.

Cool...:coffee:

Ever heard of courts, tribunals etc ?

Don't know about the P***s, but I've heard of them.

Aren't these the things that send you lot to prison in your dozens? For life sentences, because the lapse of ten years in the trial ruled out death sentences?

Yup, heard of them. Good you have.

You might even get to meet them, come election time and false voting time.

I repeat a common man, aam-admi has no time for what happened 10 years ago and he has moved on. For him the most important thing is when his drinking water will come, will it be clean, will his electricity be supplied 24*7, will the day to day governance be good..in short his daily life and his various needs...that is what matter to him and that is what he votes for.

Now people who have no other job in life or who have enough assets to waste their time can choose to hang on to things in past, but not so the common man. And it is he who votes. Now exhibiting a condescending attitude towards his choice and describing him as rabid, rancid misfit only betrays the massive ego that lurks behind who thinks them as some lesser mortals. We have a saying in Tamil - Makkal theerpe Mahesan theerpu..meaning the verdict of the people is the verdict of God. Please learn to respect that. Else the democracy that we so proudly flaunt here has no real meaning.

Send "you" lot. ?

Mind your words, If I may. Giving respect to the elderly is my culture. Lets not abuse it.

You must be new to concepts called as civil activism, elections, courts, laws etc etc. And you must be some kind of authority too, to pass your fatwa judgement on Modi etc etc. You being from pakistan, I must not be too harsh on you there.

Modi has passed the test of judicial and police scrutiny under congress rule, many people - hindus and muslims have been convicted for rioting, many cases are still ongoing, many people have vigorously followed these cases and played their part in bringing culprits to justice. The article actually shows the role hindus have played in this civil activism, but for you Modi is just the kind of strawman you brainwashed pakistanis need to keep talking trash. Enjoy doing that while we offer our one finger salute to your indoctrinated hatred and cynicism.

This is not about Pakistanis. They have nothing to do with what happened in Gujarat, and can do nothing about it, except bark at our heels.

This is about morally outraged Indians who took on the state, when the centre chickened out. They did not do it to play to the gallery. They did it for us, for the country, for democracy, for the rights of every Indian citizen.

It really doesn't matter what foreigners think. It matters what we do. And it has been good so far. And the noose is tightening around the main culprit.

Consider things calmly before offering irrelevant people the finger.

The court has dismissed the spontaneous uprising theory. It has clearly described the conspiracy that took place. The entire defense of Modi and his pack has been that it was spontaneous, that the state machinery was overwhelmed, that the ministers and ruling politicians did their best but were swept aside by the fast movements which they had no way of predicting. This is now, officially, a lie. It is now a court verdict that some, at least, of the Sangh Parivar, were planning a bloody massacre.

Modi cannot hide behind his original defense any longer. It has been striped away. Now he depends on proving that others conspired, that he was not part of it, and that is why this great leader has quickly abandoned his henchmen and turned away.

Read Sanjeev Bhatt's open letter to him.

You will not mind my saying that Sanjeev Bhatt, defying the state even as it harasses him, transfers him, suspends him, arrests him and finally gets his orderly to place false charges against him, is worth more than the entire pack of rats on the Internet, on PDF and everywhere else who are still stuck in dogged defense of a creature who is guaranteed, on his exhibited behaviour, not to stand by these loyalists any more than he stood by the loyalists who are now facing jail.

If you are giving these naifs of democracy the finger, what do you suppose Bwana Modi is giving you?

Send "you" lot. ?

Mind your words, If I may. Giving respect to the elderly is my culture. Lets not abuse it.

Yes, send "you" lot.

Haven't you been proclaiming your BJP membership from the rooftops? Who do you think conspired to massacre the Muslims, the Adalet ve Kalkinma Partisi?

Please be sure that the day my opinions are formed by the possible response that communalists have to it will be an evil day in my life. I do not lead my life by certificates from others. Keep your respect for Kodnani and Bajrangi.

What kodnani or bajrangi did ar their own actions and hence will be put away by Indian courts. India law does not hold Modi responsible. Not to mention none of this negates the efforts of those hindus who fought to get other Indians justice.

But looks like its popular to cry modi and then wallow in one's hateful mindset, whatever be the topic.

Try again.

The court has found the convicts guilty of conspiracy.

NO court has absolved Modi yet. Mainly because Modi has fought with single-minded zeal for self-preservation to avoid any matter from coming to court, where he might be involved. Now that his underlings have been convicted, it is one step closer.

What is your view about Maya Kodnani, a lady getting convicted for riots ?

The activists are nothing but a part of the NGO cottage industry sponsored by the Congress to beat Modi with. Most of them like Harsh Mander are not even Hindus. In Pakistan they would be classified by the likes of you as 'liberal fascists'.

Oh, please.

Nobody depends on you to define whether they are religious or not, born Hindu or not. What do you think Harsh Mander is, a Confucian?

Yes, send "you" lot.

And there you have lost it. Personal attacks.

Haven't you been proclaiming your BJP membership from the rooftops? Who do you think conspired to massacre the Muslims, the Adalet ve Kalkinma Partisi?

Yes I am BJP sympathizer. BJP is a notified national party that also is the principal opposition party and what makes you think you have the right to judge them. Just who do you think you are ? Some God appointed doler of certificates of what is halal and what is haram ?

Not the AKP...but CIA and Mossad. That is my opinion. Happy ? No seriously, those mullahs who burnt aliive 59 pilgrims alive were those who were responsible for the whole mayhem.

Please be sure that the day my opinions are formed by the possible response that communalists have to it will be an evil day in my life. I do not lead my life by certificates from others. Keep your respect for Kodnani and Bajrangi.

Oh so, now you are going to give out certificates to me ? And since you dont lead your life by certificates of others, what makes you think that others give a **** to your certificates. I most certainly dont.

NO court has absolved Modi yet.

The proper words are No court has indicted him yet. Innocent until proven guilty. Constitution 101.

In such a huge and diverse country like India with two large communities that have had a historical bad blood, **** happens especially if the majority is provocated in such a bloody way. Move on.

You may like to look at today's Times of India headline, "Judge nails Modi govt.'s bid to protect Kodnani".

Yes.

After justice is done.

To the victims of 84 as well. Their blood cries out for justice. We cannot move on.

Bete u will be surprised to know that Muslims leaving in Gujarat also support Modi....

I am from Gujarat and most of my muslim friends are happy that they are leaving prosperous life...Modi's development policies have made him what he is today.....U don't have a clue what u are talking, u are a pakistani and u dont need to speak or worry for indians (indian muslims) !!!

Thugs involved in riots are being punished....

I agree that the Pakistanis have nothing to do with this directly, but they are involved in the common outrage against the mass murder of innocents, exactly as much as all of us involved with the mass murder of the Jews by the Nazis.

Having said that, your statement about your Muslim friends and acquaintances reads very strangely. Are they really for armed mobs killing them, and butchering their women and children?

Are you serious?

Yes.

After justice is done.

Fine. Don't move on. That is your personal choice. But dont fault those who have moved on. Not all are privileged to be able to be keep being stuck in something that happened 10 years ago and still lead a comfortable life. They have their present lives to worry about.
