The Saudi Defence Ministry is said to be expected to begin contacts with the Pentagon on a deal for the Lockheed Martin F-35 JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) next year. The following 418-word report sheds light on the subject and tells what about the Saudi conditions to begin contacts on the deal. It also tells what about the variant of the aircraft which the Saudis would like to acquire.

Young man if you promise to be a good boy I promise I'll talk to Mosa to give you a ride in his personal F-35, I'm sure he, has a personal air-wing as well.

Although I am happy they are going to get this exceptional fighter jet, I would prefer riding Tornado::smitten:

However, I don't expect much from Mosa, he is always busy, if you know what I mean.

A 'Tornado' ? Thats ugly piece of crap...however lethal it maybe ! Christ man...wouldn't it better to just attach fake wings cut out of cardboard to the mule ! A 'Tornado'....? I disown you from brotherhood ! :P

Im still wondering why the RSAF are going to hold a negotiation on a jet with single engine. I have noticed that the RSAF always deal with twin engine fighters f-15, typhoon, tornado.

Because there is no other viable alternative.US will not export F22 to any external country in the foreseeable future.

Alasad can not take the whole world by himself, because if he attack Israel the whole world including GCC will unite with Israel against Syria.
But you missed my main point, because you can't think outside the box, instead of Saudi buying those jets, they should invest that money in building their own jets, or at least starting some program to build their own military equipment, tanks, missiles and etc.

Saudi Arabia always works silently, She doesn't squawks like others if you know what I mean.

Silently ? They are buying stuff for what then? if they were working on jets, tanks or etc, why would they need to buy jets, tanks or whatever??

It doesn't concern you... you want to know the answer think outside your box
