The Coming American Civil War -- Igor Panarin

americans are dumb humans, 90% of the american population couldn't locate their own country on a map.

no wonder the US economy is on the verge of collapse

I'm sorry but China was dumb allowing its country to be conquered in the first place in the past so I can back up that Chinese are dumb as well eh? Too stupid to allow it?

Despite their supposed stupidity, they still have a bigger economy than you and are responsible for countless inventions.
What does that say about your own intelligence?
You have the brains of a squirrel.

Ok even giving the benefit of doubt to the author, I can understand the North East being under European influence, Texas et al being hispanic, Mid west coming under canada..but california state under chinese influence ? Dude needs to understand that having one room woks in every street does not count as 'Chinese influence'.

Lol, yeah...can you imagine Californians living peacefully under the Chinese system? (even though I admit the state is run by commies)

Given how much of a 4th world status is Bangladesh, he should be grateful that the Americans here are nowhere as vicious and dishonest as he is on the subject of what is an ignorant society. If anything, we do not have to be dishonest, just vicious and the state of Bangladesh will more than adequate to support our insults. This guy is a member of the fortunate class in BD where he seemed to have a reasonable education and access to luxuries most of his countrymen probably never heard of. He needs an escape and the flaws of the US serves as the perfect vehicle for his escape.

I guess one fortunate side effect of having half the population illiterate is they would be too easy to manipulate and too compliant to whatever brainwashing coming their way.

Another failure on your part.

For example, if I claim that Britain's economy is smaller than China, and you oppose this claim, then we should only bring facts regarding this issue. It does not matter whether Bangladesh or Vietnam or Nigeria has a smaller or larger economy than Britain when the 'disagreement' is over whether British or Chinese economy is larger. As it stands today, Chinese economy is larger than Britain's economy today, and whoever claims otherwise will have a hard time supporting his claim.

Going back to the discussion, some/one of your compatriot displayed his ignorance, and this ignorance was correctly attributed to an entrenched habit amongst the general populace of your society. IF you want to disprove this claim, you should argue (with facts) about the supposed falsehood of such a claim.

By the way, there is nothing 'vicious' about stating the literacy rates of Bangladesh or any other country. They have little to no relevance to the thread topic in the first place, nor do they have any bearing on the general political illiteracy and ignorance that USA citizens are widely known for. For example, as I mentioned earlier,

Most USA citizens are so ignorant that they do not know the language of the country that they work in. For example, most USA or Western citizens do not know any Arabic even if they had lived many years in Saudi Arabia. Yet, villagers from BD who has never lived in Dhaka or any city for any length of time would pick up Arabic language within a few months of their stay in Saudi Arabia (or other Arabic speaking countries). The same is mostly true for Bangladeshis in Malaysia or Korea, for instance. Now one may claim that Bangladesh is poorer than those countries, so Bangladeshis must adjust to their way of life.

In that case, Qatar is wealthier than USA/Western countries, yet Westerners/USA citizens do not pick up the language of Qatar when they live and work there. Likewise, Japan is much wealthier than BD, but when Japanese volunteers work in BD, they almost always speak Bangla language, wear Bangladeshi dress (mostly female Japanese volunteers), and do not whine about lack of alcohol or other silly issues like Westerners do.

Yet relatively uneducated villagers or people who have had little exposure to organized, sustained, formal education and the outside world familiarize themselves with the outside world to the best of their abilities.

A Japanese television report on Bangladeshis from across the social and economic spectrum living in Japan, partaking in a variety of social activities (many of which are frowned upon in BD), AND speaking in Japanese language throughout.

Likewise, Japanese volunteers in BD often speak in Bangla (language), wear Bangladeshi dress, I had even seen four young Japanese tourists boarding a local bus (that are outdated, create a lot of pollution, cheap, and packed with people) to travel within the city. Perhaps, they wanted to experience the lives of an 'average' Bangladeshi. In any case, those tourists or volunteers from Japan are far more knowledgeable and respectable for those simple reasons.

Nah I'll just ignore :D plus I will not join your stupid argument, that's what I meant.

You do not have an argument or point. In that case, you do not need to call any other argument or debate 'stupid' because you fall short on the intellectual sphere. If you want to point out facts that contradict my claim, then you may do so. If not, you are free to exit the thread.

You know that your being intellectually dishonest with such statements. And while I agree with you that some Americans could care less what’s going on outside the US. I will wager you the numbers per capita who do care are much higher than Brazil or Bangladesh. This year I have traveled to 9 countries in Asia, Africa, and Europe and will travel to 12-15 more next year. I have found that your blanket statement "the whole world knows" is far from the truth.

Re-read my statements if you fail to comprehend them. The percentage of well aware individuals in BD or elsewhere is of little consequence in determining the general ignorance and foolishness of USA citizens. Furthermore, as I have stated earlier,

Most USA citizens are so ignorant that they do not know the language of the country that they work in. For example, most USA or Western citizens do not know any Arabic even if they had lived many years in Saudi Arabia. If you look at the total number of American citizens living abroad, relative to its population, and compare that with the total number of citizens living abroad for citizens of other countries, the picture would not be pretty. Furthermore, around 30% of American citizens even possess their own passports compared to much higher figures of 60% or more for UK (another anglophone Western country of similar religious and cultural background).

You said that you visited 9 countries. Can you name these countries? How many of these countries' languages did you know? How much of these countries internal and external politics and relations are you aware of? Name those countries first, so I could gauge how well informed a relatively 'well travelled' USA citizen like you really is.

It is you that must prove Americans are ignorant to the extent of that video, not me.

There are no doubt ignorant people in America, just like there are ignorant people all over the world, but it is you that must prove a majority of 300+ million people have this level of ignorance you imply, not I that must disprove it.

so lets get started, bring out your millions upon millions of sources, I hope they aren't all part of comedy channels and youtube videos from random posters.

I wouldn't be surprised with regards to the majority of the population being more focused on local and domestic politics than foreign affairs, as that is just how it is, but when you imply that the 'average' American can't name a state with U in it, you are the one being ignorant.

If I had started a thread on this issue, then I would have needed to provide proof for the ignorance of millions of Americans. However, as any interested forum member can check, your fellow compatriot displayed his own ignorance which I, correctly, attributed to an entrenched national habit. Furthermore, millions of your countrymen do not even know the countries where your country has invaded and killed millions of innocent people and carried out unspeakable atrocities.

While UK, another of your major accomplices in crime, saw over a million people oppose their illegal and mindless invasion of Iraq by marching in London, nothing of the same scale was seen in the USA despite the main perpetrator of this horrendous crime being 'you'!

If you want evidence, then open a new thread, deposit 20,000 dinars (Kuwaiti) to an account (that I will inform you about if you accept the challenge), then I will rent the services of professional legal consultants to prepare and gather evidence meticulously to support such a claim.

sir, in fact a total fall of US's/EU's economy will result in enormous benefits to developing countries. i remember during recession early 2009, i asked my one friend of Venezuela, "is there any profit to sell oil for the price $27/barrel?" as it was that time? he was working with me as projects engineer that time, Loice Riera, and he answered, "even $27/barrel is a price which includes profit on the top of production cost." we clearly meant that $50/barrel is a quite reasonable price of oil and anything above it is a gift. but we also discussed that its mainly because of OECD countries who sell products for a very high price due to their high labor cost, so the oil rich nations also need higher price for oil/gas to buy those products from OECD economies. and the final result is, first oil/gas/metal is expansive this way and at the same time products of US/EU is also very expansive, and it all come from the pocket of developing nations, keeping them poor forever :meeting:

in fact, US produce around 50% of oil it consume and Britain produce around 70% of oil it consume and any fall of their economies US$/Ponds will make them in the position of almost no oil import, after a free fall of their economies, as below. :enjoy:
https://www.cia.gov/library/publica...me=China&countryCode=ch®ionCode=eas&rank=5#ch

its all because, the cheapest coffee on the streets of Australia is sold for around $3.5, the minimum, and the same can be bought for hardly Rs20 in India, a pretty good coffee. while the petrol price is $1.3 in Australia and Rs80 in India? its cheap to drive to a suburb than buying a ticket of bus in Australia and hence, people have more cars in Australia than total population there. less people in the busses, very few in case of Perth I saw. but if the AU$ fall by 400%, say, then people there will be willing to be in busses more than driving cars, obviously?????

for example of Indian trade relation with other countries, total oil import bill of India last financial year was around $140bil at the average oil price of $110/barrel last year. and excluding export of refined oil, they consumed oil worth around $120bn and this way there was a loss of around $60bn to $80bn due to the oil price over $50/barrel. and also, until US/EU economies fall, they will have to keep paying over $100bn for import of their products which would cost hardly around $25bn to $30bn if the US$ and Euro suddenly fall, as it will then make their products cheap in terms of exchange rate and also it will then be hard for them to import too much oil/gas/metal, bringing the oil prices well below even $40/barrel for a long period of time. you will then have saving of at least $20bn on the side of import from China also as they will then have cheap energy/metal to manufacture the products, they export to India.......

this way I may say, a sudden fall of US$/Euro will result in around $150bn to $200bn saving for India on the import side and at the same time India may lose upto $150bn on the export side of combine merchandise/service export, no more than that. this way, you will lose jobs of maximum $150bn export but it will result in minimum saving of $150bn on import side. and then we may invest that $150bn in infrastructure to first generate jobs of $150bn in India and also to have new infrastructure. this way, until India wants to keep jobs of $150bn export, they will have to keep paying price of it on the side of import. while from my side I may say, India is not as much dependent on export as China+ASEAN+OECD and any loss on the export side may be fulfilled by increase in domestic consumption on long term. but after that, being more capable to import high tech products at low price from OECD nations, will finally help them have a better shape of Industries, which they can't right now as they simply can't import high tech products so 'freely', also. as, they are too expansive in the current exchange rate terms of US$/Euro.........

fall of US/EU economies will bring huge benefits to developing nations which can't be stated in one post...........

I work for an NGO that operates in over 50 countries. Some of those countries are totalitarian and very restrictive concerning the work I do so I am not going to name them.

America is a vast and varied country. The only other countries larger are Russia and Canada. As a result many Americans don't feel the need to have a passport since they can travel to so many places without leaving the country. Also many that do travel outside the US go to Mexico, Canada, or the Caribbean which until just a couple years ago didn't require a passport for US citizens.

Nearly half of Americans don't pay income tax

WASHINGTON - Already scrambling to steady a struggling campaign, Republican Mitt Romney confronted a new headache Monday after a video surfaced showing him telling wealthy donors that almost half of all Americans "believe they are victims" entitled to extensive government support. He added that as a candidate for the White House, "my job is not to worry about those people."

At a hastily called news conference late Monday, Romney conceded the comments weren't "elegantly stated" and that they were spoken "off the cuff."

President Barack Obama's campaign quickly seized on the video, obtained by the magazine Mother Jones and made public on a day that Romney's campaign conceded it needed a change in campaign strategy to gain momentum in the presidential race.

"There are 47 per cent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what," Romney is shown saying in a video posted online by the magazine. "There are 47 per cent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it."

"Forty-seven per cent of Americans pay no income tax," Romney said.

Romney said his role "is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

Romney's campaign did not dispute the authenticity of the video, instead releasing a statement seeking to clarify his remarks. "Mitt Romney wants to help all Americans struggling in the Obama economy," spokeswoman Gail Gitcho said. "He is concerned about the growing number of people who are dependent on the federal government."

About 46 per cent of Americans owed no federal income tax in 2011, although many of them paid other forms of taxes. More than 16 million elderly Americans avoid federal income taxes solely because of tax breaks that apply only to the elderly, according to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center.

Obama's campaign called the video "shocking."

"It's hard to serve as president for all Americans when you've disdainfully written off half the nation," Obama campaign manager Jim Messina said in a statement.

The private remarks are the latest in a string of comments from the multimillionaire Republican businessman whom Democrats have criticized as out of touch. During the primary campaign, Romney insisted that he was "not concerned" about the very poor, and said that his wife drove a "couple of Cadillacs." Aides to Obama's campaign said the latest video would help them continue to make the case that Romney doesn't understand the concerns of average Americans.

Voters say they believe Obama has a better understanding of their problems and concerns than Romney does. A CBS/New York Times poll showed 60 per cent of likely voters said Obama understands the needs and problems of people like them, while 37 per cent said he did not. For Romney, the same question found that 46 per cent felt he did understand people's needs, 48 per cent said he didn't.

The remarks came at a closed-door fundraiser that Mother Jones reported occurred after Romney had clinched the Republican nomination. To protect the identity of the person who provided the remarks, Mother Jones blurred out the video and did not provide the date or location of the fundraiser. Romney formally clinched the nomination May 29 and formally accepted it last month at the Republican convention in Tampa.

Mitt Romney: Nearly half of Americans don't pay income tax, 'believe they are victims'

Over 100 million people in the United States are now receiving some form of federal welfare, GOP reps claim, a figure they’ve found after combing through statistics collected from the US Census’s Survey of Income and Program Participation. Paired with recent figures out of the Census Bureau, that brings the percentage of people residing in the States receiving some form or another of federal welfare at nearly one-in-three, given that the country’s population is estimated to be around 314 million, according to the department’s most recent statistics.

The committee’s findings actually put the figure of US residents on welfare close to around 107 million, which appears substantial when compared to statistics from only a few years ago. During the first quarter of 2009 when Barack Obama was inaugurated as president of the United States, roughly 97 million US residents were on the receiving end of federal programs.

Romney is gonna win this election for Obama all by himself lol.

Romney said the real unemployment rate would be closer to 11%

Mitt Romney today released the following statement on the September unemployment report: “This is not what a real recovery looks like. We created fewer jobs in September than in August, and fewer jobs in August than in July, and we’ve lost over 600,000 manufacturing jobs since President Obama took office. If not for all the people who have simply dropped out of the labor force, the real unemployment rate would be closer to 11%. The results of President Obama's failed policies are staggering – 23 million Americans struggling for work, nearly one in six living in poverty and 47 million people dependent on food stamps to feed themselves and their families. The choice in this election is clear. Under President Obama, we’ll get another four years like the last four years. If I’m elected, we will have a real recovery with pro-growth policies that will create 12 million new jobs and rising incomes for everyone.”The U.S. unemployment rate "fell" in September to 7.8% last month from 8.1% in August.

After his stunning defeat by Romney, Obama is trying to deceive us all with his "cooked" unemployment figures. Given a $6 trillion spending sprees with which to purchase some kind of economic activity, there is essentially no new infrastructure worth mentioning, the lowest rate of adult employment in 30 years. This news is Obama's "economics on steroids" A deficit of $1.2 trillion a year could be used to pay 24 million people for a salary of $50,000 per year.

I could not be happier for the 114,000 that found jobs. However, what is being done about the 23,000,000 Americans still looking for work. It will take a lifetime for Americans to find a job at this 114,000 jobs rate.

Keeping pace with population growth required 12 million jobs over four years. The U.S. payrolls, obtained in a separate survey of employers, increased by a seasonally adjusted 114,000 jobs last month, the Labor Department said Friday.

Only 114,000 jobs gain and the rate went down? The President Obama keeps saying that things are getting better but if you live in the real world you know that they are not.

If the U.S. economy had gained 500,000 jobs, I would not find as much skepticism. It is widely accepted that the economy must add 300,000 jobs just to break even and keeping pace with population growth . So when you have only 114, 000 jobs added, and a .3% drop in unemployed . Those two numbers do not add up.

That .3% drop should have translated into roughly 500k jobs created. So the difference between 500k and 114k is mostly likely people dropping out of the workforce. Not a good thing.

Labor participation rate continues its slide and many of the jobs added last month were part time. The number of people with part-time jobs who wanted full-time work rose 7.5 percent to 8.6 million.

Continued anemic job growth is the bottom line. In order for unemployment to fall by 0.3% when only 114,000 jobs are added has to mean more people are dropping out of the workforce than expected.

The broader measure they point to of 14.7% understates the magnitude of the unemployment/underemployment because it omits drop outs from the labor pool. We need to add 500,000 jobs a month to pull out of this stall. How about a consistent presentation of data that reflects total workforce, total participation rate, drop outs, underemployed and the employed? (Is it that hard to do?)

How many of those no longer unemployed went to state welfare rolls, Social Security disability, or only have a twice-a-week part time jobs? Will the Obama-friendly media look into that? not quite.

How many of those "new" jobs were jobs were the original employee retired, died, or left the job under legitimate circumstance (woman leaving to raise families, for instance) , and where a "new" employee was hired? That's not a "new job," but just someone taking someone else place. :undecided:

The U.S economy is poised on the edge of a fiscal cliff leading from unsustainable debt accumulation. The 2012 election will be determined by the economy, US economic conditions are getting worse. President Obama's actions have let down a country. The greatest country in the world. He has failed to lead, to unite and to take this economy back to greatness. He says one thing and has done another constantly. He is a divisive figure who has done absolutely nothing to bring the country together as he promised.

Obama's desire by actions and words is to punish those who either are trying to achieve or have achieved this. The people of this great country deserve better.

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan vision represents concepts of liberty, freedom, self-reliance, and responsibility. Clear choice for Americans in 2012 election.

Liberty vs dependence, opportunity vs entitlement. Mitt Romney's strength derives from his solid experience in understanding economy, free enterprise and having the vision to help businesses succeed and create jobs.
Mitt Romney will rebuild the foundations of the American economy on the principles of free enterprise, hard work, and innovation

Mitt Romney's plan:
1. Energy independence
2. Improve education/School choice
3. Make trade work for America
4. Cut the deficit / Balance the budget
5. Champion small businesses and reduce regulations.

President Obama vision for the last four years has basically been to spend more, lots more, and kick the tax bill down the road or claim that the rich people will be forced to pay for it later. This isn't working and the problem is getting worse.

President Obama has a record high poverty rate, record high food-stamp recipients, record high accumulation of National debt, record high foreclosures and record high loss of median family income. Food prices are up 15% . The gas prices has doubled under Obama.

President Obama said if he was elected president, the average American family's yearly health insurance premiums would go down by $2,500. Yearly health insurance premiums have gone UP by more than $2,700 since Obama was elected.

The U.S. lost its perfect AAA credit rating and the U.S slips to number 7 in global competitiveness for business environment under Obama. The U.S Nation's National Security is facing traumatic repercussions from Obama' policies. The U.S Southern border is a sieve, open as a gateway to the most violent criminals.

The US is under siege by terrorist fanatical groups of anarchists across the globe. The attacks on U.S. embassies have escalated across the world. American's and U.S. ambassador killed in Libya

The US economic crisis is rooted in deep government debt and lavishes of government unaffordable and unsustainable basket of social programs on its citizen without regard to there economic or social consequences.

U.S. most armed country with 90 guns per 100 people

r

(Reuters) - The United States has 90 guns for every 100 citizens, making it the most heavily armed society in the world, a report released on Tuesday said.

U.S. citizens own 270 million of the world's 875 million known firearms, according to the Small Arms Survey 2007 by the Geneva-based Graduate Institute of International Studies.

About 4.5 million of the 8 million new guns manufactured worldwide each year are purchased in the United States, it said.

"There is roughly one firearm for every seven people worldwide. Without the United States, though, this drops to about one firearm per 10 people," it said.

India had the world's second-largest civilian gun arsenal, with an estimated 46 million firearms outside law enforcement and the military, though this represented just four guns per 100 people there. China, ranked third with 40 million privately held guns, had 3 firearms per 100 people.

Germany, France, Pakistan, Mexico, Brazil and Russia were next in the ranking of country's overall civilian gun arsenals.

On a per-capita basis, Yemen had the second most heavily armed citizenry behind the United States, with 61 guns per 100 people, followed by Finland with 56, Switzerland with 46, Iraq with 39 and Serbia with 38.

France, Canada, Sweden, Austria and Germany were next, each with about 30 guns per 100 people, while many poorer countries often associated with violence ranked much lower. Nigeria, for instance, had just one gun per 100 people.

"Firearms are very unevenly distributed around the world. The image we have of certain regions such as Africa or Latin America being awash with weapons -- these images are certainly misleading," Small Arms Survey director Keith Krause said.

"Weapons ownership may be correlated with rising levels of wealth, and that means we need to think about future demand in parts of the world where economic growth is giving people larger disposable income," he told a Geneva news conference.

The report, which relied on government data, surveys and media reports to estimate the size of world arsenals, estimated there were 650 million civilian firearms worldwide, and 225 million held by law enforcement and military forces.

Five years ago, the Small Arms Survey had estimated there were a total of just 640 million firearms globally.

"Civilian holdings of weapons worldwide are much larger than we previously believed," Krause said, attributing the increase largely to better research and more data on weapon distribution networks.

Only about 12 percent of civilian weapons are thought to be registered with authorities.

United States incarceration rate

The incarceration rate in the United States of America is the highest in the world. As of 2009, the incarceration rate was 743 per 100,000 of national population (0.743%).:meeting: In comparison, Canada was 123rd in the world as 117 per 100,000, and China had 120 per 100,000. While Americans only represent about 5 percent of the world's population, nearly one-quarter of the entire world's inmates have been incarcerated in the United States in recent years:tsk:. Imprisonment of America's 2.3 million prisoners, costing $24,000 yearly, and $5.1 billion in new prison construction, consumes $60 billion in budget expenditures. :suicide:

Bad people are bad people whatever the societal values are. As long as you aren't trying to imply that the US is a country of bad people there is no quarrel.

Education is valuable, but it is ultimately a means to an end in order to achieve a successful and fulfilling life. Education is not the be all end all of life, and it should be praised for a person to be able to get ahead through experience and dedication (or maybe vision) even if they do not have impressive credentials when it comes to education.

To determine success in life purely by the education system is wrong and flawed.
