Ambala to station first squadron of MMRCA fighters

It means we can blow it up with cruise missiles without getting a single fighter airborne without Ambala finding out what really hit it. Modern warfare has moved on.. Don't expect F-16s to come and bomb ambala, they can do so by launching Ra'ads 350kms away.

As if we have developed Brahmos to keep in museums

Mate, what good u have we have better ;)

I have seen ambala base many times. It is reffered as ambala cantt. It's a size of a small town on it's own. It has its own full blown railway station. Considering this you can take a guess how much amount of firepower it has stored in it. :azn:

neither is the projected FC-20, which hasn't even flown as yet.

Next time , research before posting ...

The myopic strategists worrying about a dead enemy that is on the brink of collapse rather than an enemy who is much more closer to home.

Reminds of a statement by an Indian politician ( guess who ? ) right after the creation of Pakistan ... :azn:

Appears as if your lot is still stuck in the time vaccuum and operate under the same assumption and mentality ...

Works both ways , actually ... The element of surprise will be what that matters ...

^^I have researched before posting.

But maybe I think you haven't. The MKI in Indian inventory by the time PAF acquires
FC-20 will be the SuperSukhoi with some 5th generation tech.

To balance against such an aircraft, you either need the F-35A or EF-2000 Typhoon.

Works both ways , actually ... The element of surprise will be what that matters ...

You mean the element which comes into the play when INS Arihant launches
a Hypersonic Mach 7.5 K-15 missile from underwater?

You said the FC-20 hasn't flown yet ! :azn: ... When it is in active service with PLAAF for over a decade now known to them as J-10 ... Well , your lot operates under the assumption that anything Western is better than home grown or Asian technology ... Holds true for your defense industry too so I wont be wasting my time comparing both aircraft ... When there isn't sufficient data on hand to prove if one is superior or inferior to other ... TY

Operational , is it ? Or yet another future though of project ? :azn: Whatever you acquire , we will always have something to counter it ... You have my firm assurance

Ha and you tell me to reserach before posting?

Its YOU who needs to the research. According to what I've been reading on PDF for
months, the FC-20 will be a Pakistan-specific variant of the J-10B.

PLAAF currently operates only J-10A, the J-10B isn't in active service as yet, some
say it will never be inducted as its only meant to be a testbed ac.

No chinese aircraft with the name FC-20 has flown. To tell the truth, the very deal
for acquiring these fighters in yet to be signed!
After the deal is signed and
Pakistan begs money from USA to pay for the costs, the first FC-20 prototype will
fly. And it'll take some more years for it to be delivered to PAF. I estimate signing
of deal + 3 years to acquire the first operational fighter into PAF. God knows when
the deal will be signed, and when Pak acquires the wallet:rofl:

We have around 200 MKIs in service:azn: by the time you get FC-20 that no. will
go up to 250+. And maybe first Rafale squadron will also be ready.

Actually , the FC-20 variant was agreed to be based on J-10A with specific modification by PAF a long time ago since the B version hasn't achieved maturity ... I cant do nothing if you aren't updated ... To tell the truth , we do not acquire weapons the same way as you do ... We have no wish or habit to announce deals publicly and nake parade equipment ... Do not be surprised if you wake up one day and see a J-10 flying over Kamra ... The Chinese can deliver things well before schedule unlike some ... If you have any doubts , check our previous acquisitions :azn:

No Chinese aircraft needs to fly with FC-20 name since each country orders specific modifications based on some aircraft , doesn't change the fact that it is the same aircraft even then ... Do not make further childish statements like you did before that J-10 A or even B hasn't flown yet ... Yes , you have and we have things to counter that ... All saw what happened in '02 standoff ...

^^How did a child like you posted enough posts to become Senior Member?

All saw what happened when push came to shove many times before '02 standoff.
You can include 1999 Kargil..."we will nuke India" "we can nuke India" "we can nuke
India anytime" "we can do sh!t".

And all know what really happened. No nuke. No sh!t. Just PA getting kicked outta
Kargil with artillery guns.

^Mate you owned him! Now he brings in 02 standoff, its only that much a Pakistani can brag about :P

So just because you cant answer my post , so you now resort to trolling , kid ? :azn: You never answered my questions ...

You were saying that FC-20 hasn't flown yet when it is operational service ... Maybe , you should have corrected your statement instead of acting like a fool ...

^Mate you owned him! Now he brings in 02 standoff, its only that much a Pakistani can brag about :P

No , I was just telling him to get off his high horse of dreaming of Pakistan not doing anything to counter India ... At that time , we didn't even have BVR capable aircraft yet no one dared to cross the border ... Your generals know better , the Internet warriors like your favorite poster do not know jack **** ...

Right and you are the most knowledgeable person on this planet.. Who is on his high horse?
Dude you are so contradictory in nature :)

Surprise will be a nuclear missile flying in from iran side with all ur radars looking the other way . Is it possible , perfectly possible. :-)

I have seen dozens of members like you come and go before even making 100 posts since they are just painted pink and banned for trolling ... :azn:

Ambala Cantonment have headquarters of 2 Corps and probably some of the following troops placed there ……….

Some elements of 1 armoured division
Probably two armoured brigades
One air defence brigade
One or two artillery brigades and some elements 40 artillery division including its headquarter
A lot of 2 Corps support troops and echelons

Lot of artillery troops, some armoured troops and a whole lot of support troops and echelons – not a lot of fire power as you have stated.

I do not think I am ... The ones who are dreaming of bringing Pakistan into submission or thinking that we cant deal with a new threat are the ones on high horses ... A rational reply to the comment " it all depends on surprise factor " isn't " What would you do if some hypersonic K-15 is launched ? " ... Next time , bother to check what the poster was replying to ...

Not at all ... I just said we have means of countering things ... You need not to present me with a list of MKI's in response to a correction that FC-20 is well in operational service ... That is called " flaming "
