What's new

Malala, 15, set to make Britain her permanent home

Well, that's the rational thing to do. What exactly is the point of coming back to Mullahistan, get shot again and probably wind up dead?

... It is 1 or 2 year contract !

Perhaps that could mean that when all this hype goes down, he and the family could return to Pak. But who would want to come back after seeing the 'pardes ki bahar' ???

Oh well!

is it not benaziristan  or say benazirabad

This is the opinion of your son who has a Pakistani father (and probably Pakistani mother as well :D). Now think about the opinion that millions of other people have who don't even have any Pak connection. There is a serious image problem with pakistan.

When your politicians do corruption, lick the feet of west and pay millions just to live and have their stakes in those countries then what do you expect the west to have which kind of perception regarding you. And those Pakistanis who go to abroad and talk bad about Pakistan are doing any favor to the image of this country.

The other perceives about you what you want them to .... When a nation allows every second country to bomb the hell out of her civilians instead of being so called a nuclear state with 6th largest army than what kind of respect you want them to offer to you?

Its like someone entering your neighborhood killing the infants of your neighbors while them being having fun and praising those killers , will you pay any respect to neighbors realizing what you saw? or you will think of them being worst than the animals

Her parents can go back.

If her life is in danger, she should be given a new identity under the witness protection programme rather than offering her father a job at the Pak High Commission. That should be merit based only.

other girls have joined school week ago... however, she will return on "appropriate time".

Good Move-

Until Pakistanis are not safe in their own country- Let them settle else where-

I do hope she will come back once done with her studies-

btw the message is clear- If you are a Pakistani girl and want to study go abroad- no need to take a bullet for that- the ones who cant take a bullet- and die a poor Pakistani- if being a Pakistani means anything-

Pakistanis are not safe so lets evacuate all pakistanis and settle them elsewhere , just 17 million people more to go....or is malala only Pakistani? or Pakistani girl? We still have hell lot of Pakistani girls studying in Pakistan , in most top class institutes there are more girls than boys studying . You are sounding like if Pakistan is an impossible place to live and people who are living here are not humans rather some aliens.

Oh and if someone wants to get green card then he might be successful pretending so .......irk

No offense to any one but just wondering how much time it will take for once a young Pakistani symbol Dupatta to disappear from her head completely--

Soon you gonna see such rate lists

1 bullet = UK citizenship

2 bullets = Canadian citizenship

1 grenade = American citizenship

and if you want a bullet = burmese citizenship

Sensible move by Pak govt. After giving so much hype to this 'malala' episode it's now imperative that the Pak govt takes care of safety & security of the family.. & coming back to Pakistan means putting their life in danger no matter what kind of security you provide. Better safe than sorry...

I heard a "sher" few days ago i don't remember it well but it was like

Thi chinta mughe bhi apne desh ki magar
mera pet bhar gaya aur mujhe neend aa gayi.
