To all Indians,
See guys, there are two aspects. Every country has protocols. GOI is at fault. It wasn't India directly but rather was ridiculed indirectly, it was the people we elected who messed things up and the blames lies on us too.
Take a lesson that next time you don't elect incompetent people. Also, blaming PM MMS, is right to an extent but calling him names is not at all right. He failed many times. He didn't cash in world opinion towards our neighbor to put them in corner, rather gave a hand of friendship. It was MMS who was trying to somehow stop this bloody game. He also took care of country when country needed him. But, the blame goes to idiots like Salman Khurshid who has time for arranging luncheon from Pak PM, Sushil Shinde who doesn't know that he betrayed his country but saying what doesn't exist.
So next time, elect people looking at their individual record. Elect MMS but not rest of VCongress. BTW MMS new about shoddy work of A.Raja . He told to rectify it, but Congress just do corruption. MMS couldn't let country suffer so he took this bashing and kept his focus. But he can't control Gandhi family which is root of these evils.
Tell me one thing, if some Prime Minister come to India, and there isn't a plan to meet him, but he asks for it, shouldn't we as a host arrange for it. After all they are our guest. But India should also keep things in mind that country which sent its PM, never did anything wrong with us.
South Africa is right and wrong. They followed the protocol. But SA could have got in good books of India, if they thought that not arranging meet with PM of India, the country which supported them in their freedom struggle, stood by them. It was a common courtesy. If I go to any place and meet my old friend there who lives at that place, we exchange contacts, and I went to his home to meet him unannounced. I know one thing for sure that my friend will at least give me some time because I came to him, but if he had to leave for his important work or appointment, I had to allow him and not feel bad. Come on grow up, you messed up, didn't took appointment.

If you say India is no one at world's stage, you can get few thanks and fulfill your daily appetitie of bashing India on this forum with impunity. I wonder why you have been protesting against India over we giving refuge to one Monk and over Arunachal Pradesh ?
We are in Vietnam searching oil while you threaten others. We simply don't care. You can push over smaller country, not India. And Chinese leadership knows that. So, they won't use tactics they are using against Japan or other countries, because lets face it, we are not a pushover. A country if 1.2 billion people even with a corrupt govt. is a tough country. And its in China's interest to have good relations with India and vice versa.
Oh By The Way, there is a thread on this very forum that China asked India's help in protecting its investment in Afghanistan. Kindly go through it.
If we are no body, then why all this drama ?
Look at recent Italian case. Look at how EU first tried to show support to Italy to make India bite the bullet, but finally it was Italy which had to. As Italians said, we risked isolation. Britain, France must have told Italy, see guys for two marines you, and we can't mess up our relations with India. They are too important for us, especially in this dire economic condition of ours.
They know that India is no longer a colony of British empire, but a nation which got independence just by observing fasts, long walks to different towns, ( which was good for health too
) and by using their own product.
We used things for good health, (like fasts, marches) and just producing our own stuff as a Weapon.
Tell me one country which has defeated their occupiers by this way.
I mean this country is simply Unique who kicked out one of the mightiest power of its time, by doing this weird things. No matter how we are, what we do, world has to and we have to, adapt according to each other. It goes both ways.

I respect China but don't disrespect my country. GOI may be an idiot and bring shame, but I and a billion people are there to protect our national honor.
To all Pakistani posters, who are thanking the pot shots made on India and taking few themselves, you should be last country to talk about getting ridiculed. And PDF is full of examples of it. So, I let you think about it and deep inside you know it that India has way much significance at world stage than Pakistan.
You know why I don't care too much what you guys say, because my aim is to talk for India and defend my country's position in front of a worthy country like China. And think about it, this simple case of meeting is taken at that high regard still GOI didn't made it a big deal. We know how to learn from our mistakes.
Only a strong, independent and sovereign country can do this. Only a strong can accept its mistake. Only a proud can learn from it and only a honorable one will act accordingly, with CIVILITY.
