Breaking News, IAF Jaguar crashes

Because this is a Pakistani forum and you Indians come here to learn so it's Pakistani members authority to teach you and keep you abreast of news and incidents.

Since its a Pakistani forum it still hosted on US server if u know what i mean.

Secondly, What kind of moronic authority does this pakistani forum have or can Teach an enlightened Gambit or Sancho or ChineseDragon ?

Thirdly, People come to discuss here and not to fall under someones authority....we all need people frm across the globe...this includes learners and the 'Preachers' Both.

Feel sorry for India, they are not in great record of maintenance and professionals including Navy unfortunately.

I really hope Indian airforce should carefully take care French Rafale if induction soon, otherwise France will blame India for poor skills.

The PC/Laptop you call your own is also most probably built in Japan, Korea or even China.
My reply was to a baloney by an Indian member and i don't recall Gambit or Chinese Dragon acquiring Indian membership.

Ah,the same imbecile who claimed Pakistan was ahead of India in space technology :omghaha:

Indians always are so insecure and lack of common senses, Pakistan was in better shape in 2003 before India started on space mission cooperation with Foreign countries, right?

If so, please sit down and drink chocolate milk.

Was that supposed to be a foolish remark ?What '2003 space mission cooperation with Foreign countries'?

We have been making satellites since 1975 & launching them since 1980

This is what we had in 2003,tell me what did you have-a leased damaged Indonesian sat ?

Was this articular Jaguar upgraded or not?

These things are the reason why we desperately need the multi role capable Rafales in the IAF....

Fu**ing bureaucracy!

But thank God the pilot is safe and nobody got hurt
Upgraded in what sense? Possibly DARIN II but no chance this was a DARIN III standard. We will have to wait until the true cause of this crash is revealed but the DARIN III standard with the new Honeywell F125 engines will be far safer than the current fleet. But, as @Oscar said, all machines fail- no matter how advanced or "impregnable".

Good news the pilot ejected safely- machines can be replaced, humans can not.

One of the reasons why IAF prefered them over Mig 27s.
The MiG-27s are pure junk now and just waiting to be phased out by the Rafale. The Jags on the other hand are deemed useful enough to be upgraded (a select number, not the entire fleet- most will be phased out) to DARIN III standard and re-engined. The IAF didn't explore the re-engining of the MiG-27 with the AL-31 all that much, they just want them gone.

Down goes the pilot's career. .
How so? Very premature to state this at this point- the cause of the crash is unknown to date.

In army, navy and air force too

50% come through quotas:lol:
There are no quotas in the Indian military- it is a 100% merit based system.

Pilots who crash are grounded from further flying ops. Usually for good.

If it is deemed to be their fault they loose their flying status yes, but if it is a mechanical failure it would be absurd to dish out similar punishments. That's not how the IAF works at least- IF this was a fault out of his control this will not be the end of his flying career by a long shot.

Yeah. Am quite aware of this fact. I was giving one of the many reasons why IAF deemed the Jaguars worthy of an upgrade but not the Mig 27s.

It usually is the case.
Not so in case of IAF. If the pilot is medically fit and the Court of Inquiry pinpoints mechanical failure as the cause for loss of control and subsequent crash, then there's no reason why he won't be reinstated to his former status.

Dude, find a better topic to troll. There's no way you can prove any of what you have claimed, while many here can ram a sword through that little bubble of your ignorance w.r.t India's space capabilities and history.

As @Indischer says, if the BoI set up post every such incident rules the crash to have been equipment failure then how can a pilot not be given back full flight status? To not do so would be totally out of order and you can bet would see the IAF hauled in front of an armed forces employment tribunal that they would surely loose.

It simply is NOT the case in the IAF that all pilots who lose planes never fly again- it all depends on the reason for the crash.

It's not the case of should, it's a stigma that is attached.
