Btw i do believe that european union like union is possible but for that to happen each nation need to resolve land dispute and become economically powerful

what other land disputes are there besides the kashmir issue and perhaps the durand line(that shouldn't be an issue)

that would obviously have to get solved.. by either making them an independent country or both countries accepting LOC as borders…. there is no other solution..

Now lets move on a new war would be a mad war so figting is not the way forwards lets have a peaceful end to kashmir issue if india does not want to hold a refrendrum in whole of kashmir fine atleast do it in muslim majority areas and also assure us you wont violate the indus water treaty which you currently are doing
Once kashmir issue is finished you can expect a union in no time
The only problem after that would be shiv sena and jamat ud dawa just neutralise them

for economic strength and security from outside threats mainly…
our countries will save billions by not spending on armies and instead spending it on our populations..

SAARC is about as close to a 'Union' as our South Asian states will ever get for a long time to come.

But even otherwise, there's no need for a South Asian Union, not when we haven't yet fought a decisive battle to settle all scores.

France and Germany bickered for centuries before two crushing defeats in Total War brought about the change needed within Germany to accept any kind of Union with France and other countries. South Asia will have to go through something similar before attitudes change internally to facilitate such a move. But there may not be a South Asia left if our Nations engage in Total War.
