Only the partition of the land did.

For easily over 30 years Muslim families from India kept migrating to Pakistan.

We Hindus have nowhere else to go but here. This is our home.

I am not new and I know exactly what I am taking about. Gross generalization of anything is not good. We need to focus on inclusive growth and good education. Obviously this supported by strong law enforcement irrespective of religion .
If you declare India a HINDU nation, then you link a persons patriotism to the amount he is religious, thus implying if I am less religious I am not patriotic enough, thus killing me is valid. This creates multiple groups trying to prove that people of other groups are less patriotic and should be killed leading to increase in terrorism .
