2 Myanmar Army men rescued in Bandarban: BGB

Our warrior ancestors from Afghanistan, Iran, Arabia and Turkey would have showed no mercy to these infidels.

Oh man. W.r.t. the pilot, there is no way a Myanmar Airforce pilot would defect to BD. A MiG 29 buzzed Chittagong, a BD news article came out as much and then it got conflated somehow to him wanting to land.

The only army deserters are those who have committed crimes and want to avoid court martial. There are very few muslims in the army and none in the airforce.

Nonsense aside, are you allowing Mujahadin camps to operate inside your border again? Are we going to need another Nagaking?

Forget about the pilot case, you should thank us for rescuing your countrymen. And, we would expect this kind of friendly gesture from your side too.

And, to our Bangladeshi brothers you should remember this Myanmar hates us from the bottom of their heart. So there is no way they would defect into a hated country. Sorry to remind this bitter fact.

Again to Myanmar Neighbor brothers, You should thank us. We aren't gonna do politics, putting conditions for releasing them. We are a civilized and sober country, we should expect same from you.

Ahaha. Go to thick jungles of CHT hill tracts. So many AA members taken shelter there. No MM doesnt hate us. MM isnt a man that it will hate us. There are mixed numbers of people among them some Buddhist clans and Burmese military juntas hate us due to Rohingya issue. Apart from that its normal. That bitter fact is a BS fact. There are 100 groups fighting in MM and so many of them see BD as a friend.

They are not defecting to Bangladesh but they are defecting from Myanmar. All of its neighbour are the beneficiary of Burmese Junta except BD. So BD is a natural choice for any defector.

The question is how did they get captured in the first place. If BD is harbouring militant camps in its territory, the logical move would be for an operation to neutralise them

If you do online research on BD news portals, you should find so many arakan based groups weapon is getting recovered by the BGB. We are doing the operation for your benefits for long already. We should thank your side, you do not harbor anti-Bangladeshi element on your soil.

About how did they got captured? Its your matter, do your investigation by yourself. We know very little about Myanmar. But if you need any assistance, we wont hesitate to go forward as per capacity.

LOL... where was BD's AD system at that time..? he filed over cox's bazaer nearly 1hr .. :D

Acknowledging about lack of detection capacities. :P . But recently we have upgraded short distance air defense capacity.

Well, there are some international norms that we need to follow... we can't shoot down any aircraft as soon as it breaches the airspace. Besides, Myanmar is not regarded as a hostile country by the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry. The 1 hour might be used to negotiate with the pilot after which they chased him out.

Do you understand the implications and potential consequences that follow in the case of a SAM system locking onto a bogey? Obviously, you do not.

Try it on boy and see the ***-whipping that BD gives Myanmar.

Nagamin was one of the very few good things U Ne Win did. Now that was a proper cross border raid. Don't think it won't happen again.

BD military will repulse any raids
and launch retaliatory raid to make Myanmar pay.

We are worried Mighty Myanmar Burmese Army may invade us. O great one please spare us :fie:

2 rescued Myanmar army men handed over to BGP

COX'S BAZAR, July 17, 2015 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) officials today handed over the two Myanmar army personnel, rescued from frontier areas on July 14, to Myanmar's Border Guard of Police (BGP).

They were handed over to BGP after a flag meeting at Ghumdhum in Bangladesh adjacent to Bangladesh-Myanmar Moitree Bridge.

BGB 17 Battalion Commander Lt Colonel Robiul Islam and Myanmar's BGP Battalion Commander Lt Colonel Koi Thui Ja led their respective sides at the meeting.

"Bangladesh authority handed over two Myanmar army men -- Lance corporals Neiong Tun Aung, 39, and Kain Ku Lat, 28, -- to their respective authority," said Lt Colonel Robiul Islam.

Bangladesh started special drive, after information from Myanmar authorities that a separatist group abducted two army personnel, and rescued them from frontier areas, the BGB commander said.

He termed the incident as a milestone in the friendly relations between the two countries which would be strengthened in future.
