We know the following:

> India is building the Chabahar port right across the border from Pakistan and our port.

> After sanctions were lifted Iran gave India more rights to the port, calling it strategic in nature.

> India will be investing huge amounts in Iran into everything ranging from industry, factories to other things.

> India will be building railway and frieght corridors.

> India will be making roads in the eastern regions of Iran, near our border.

> Many other details are unknown.

Now many Pakistani members seem unworried. Please tell my why I should not worry?

Please tell my why I should not worry?

Because whether you worry or not this is something that is going to happen. India is a rising economical power and their investments&cooperation in Iran are more than welcome as Iran is also going to work to become an economical power.

If you think Iran will not allow economical cooperation with India because some neighbour does not like it then you're deluding yourself.

Chahbahar is one strategic port, one which I feel even China will at some point want to get involved in. So stop your moaning and accept reality. Pakistan should just concentrate on developing its economy. A rising Iranian economy does not have to be bad news for Pakistan, matter of fact it can be a good thing. If you keep a friendly attitude with Iran, which most Pakistanis do, then you will have a large and potential economical power to trade & cooperate with. And don't forget you need Iranian energy.

My friend with all due respect, China is investing billions in our port, it does not need a port right beside it.

But I do agree that Iran with the oil can be a future economic giant. And this will have implications in the region.

All your queries were answered in that other thread by @AgNoStiC MuSliM
Yet you opened this one no doubt just to troll

There were others with different views. And that was in the indian section. I wanted more opinions. Its not about trolling.

Iranian chahbahar port is still in its infancy. It will grow exponentially in the future. Iran also has the energy to fulfil the needs of such large port and can provide its security etc. Time will tell whether the Chinese decide to invest in chahabahar. And if not and they decide to stick with Pakistan then no problem. Iranians are not worried over your port, competition is a good thing and I welcome it. But don't assume Iran will stop even a 1$ in its economical growth to satisfy you. Chahbahar is here to stay.

We wish the iranians luck, your worries are not over yet however, your enemies are planning and iran will have to constantly be on top of your game to protect it from the ill intentions of the Zionists and their supporters

As stated in the other thread Gwader and Chabahar are not in competition there is immense business for both

India however is a enemy for Pakistan and Pakistan must act to hurt any ill intentions of our enemy

Its not all about you

Iran does not care for your issue with India. That's your problem. If you think Iran will allow your tensions with India to reduce its economical ties with India, then badly you're mistaken. This is about economy. Iran does not tell Pakistan who to have economical ties with and you should not have the audacity to tell Iran who to have such ties with. You're in no position to do such a thing.

Dude for the 100th time... why would Iran harm pakistan for India??? or why would Iran give up it's relation with India for the sake of pakistani concern.... why wouldn't pak think before handing over it's port to chinese investment and allowing chinese to dock their subs...why pakistan handover parts of Kasmir in the view of India???? Iran will not sell their land for any one... We may not have realtion like pakistan and chinese which is deep blue sea and Sky high type... but we have decent friendship from past few centuries...

I believe with sanctions lifted, Iran will have more options other than India including western countries and China, that is why India is in a haste to lease berths at Chahbahar, Iran already rejected the Indian demand for joint development of Faraz-B gasfield, Gwadar is also imp for Iran, it gets its electricity from Iran, and Iran is making an oil refinery there worth more than a $1billion, It is important cuz through China-Pak economic corridor, Iran would be connected via a network of roads and pipelines to China, through Pakistan, there is no other way for Iran and China to connect since Afghanistan's security situations isn't suitable, once this happens, Iran will be part of China's one belt One Road initiative, linking Pakistan, China, Central Asia and even Russia, since Xinjiang borders Russia as well, its a win win for every one.
I understand a few Pakistanis have a negative opinion about Chahbahar and Indian presence, I believe post sanctions situation would be completely different !!!

Seems like Pakistanis not secure about its nukes

Not a good news for Pakistan . India played its cards superbly , not cared about the US pressure and signed port deal with Sanctioned Iran .

If we were similarly inclined we would have accepted the saudis offer and bombed the houthis to shit

The Saudis and americans would still be well inclined to ask Pakistan to help them hurt and counter iran

If only self interest is involved and the Saudi offer good enough should we simply accept? ?

Or understand that we border iran and have to live with you

Are we asking any different from you, india is our mortal enemy, we have countered them in Afghanistan and you offer them access to a area bordering balochistan, expecting Pakistan not to act

And to remind you unlike iran Pakistan dosent have the oil to keep our heads above when sanctioned but still we have an arsenal of 200 nuclear warheads, our iwn jet fighter and plans for subs and second strike we didnt let the west snip our balls off like you did
