CPEC is between western China and Pakistan, eastern China trade will flow through malacca strait and its own ports...

dear kid do you know what is China Iran rail link and its route, Iran is not direct neighbor of China like Pakistan?

Look at the broader picture Form Chinese point of view.

They already have an existing Rail Link with Iran. They are getting a proposal from a friendly Country like Iran to get connected to Arabian Ocean.

PLUS they are getting a chance to undermine Indian dominance in the region, then KID, Would you please explain it to me, WHY Chinese shouldn't grab this offer with both hands. ( or you think that Chinese won't do it just because it spoils your politicians chances to loot CPEC funds )

still it will be less then 10,300 Km from Iran..

2500km ruote in Pakistan, Kashgar to xian 3800km according to you.. which mean its total is 6300km.. nearly 40% less then Iran rail link..

They already have an existing Rail Link with Iran. They are getting a proposal from a friendly Country like Iran to get connected to Arabian Ocean.

They rail link distance is more then 10,300km (presented link earlier).. also Pakistan has exiting rail network in most of the country and we are working on 680km rail link from China.. the distance from western China till gawadar will always be under 2500km whether you go from road or rail... now tell me which is more feasible?

So as per the map it won't make any difference to Chinese whether its Gwadar or Chabahar

But It will make a huge difference to Pakistan economy and foreign relations

its wet dream of bharti kids that Iran will allow them to use their land for dominence against China and Pakistan which have nothing to do with reality :D

Bcoz Pakistan provide shortest route for Chinese ME, Africa bound trade, we are very good friends from 65 yeras, we have same interests in region.. otherwise chinese would not come and sign 46 billion contracts.. and they are working on them as well with full speed and adding more investment..

But that also means 6300km+ tranporting-loading-unloading charges from from XYZ ports say from africa to GCC states add that cost too but here (new silk roate economic zone) there will be two Gas-Oil pipelines + train /fraight lines say from directly Xian in eastern china to say norther iran and from there to central asia and europe and russia which dont have to be loaded and unloaded like they have to be in CEPC like Goods -oil or gas will first be brought in ships to Gawadar and then unloaded to train or trucks Kashghar(2500Km) and from there to Xian(3800Km) .... think about it which will take more time

Do you have any Maps to back your claims.

Or they are Secrets routes and can not be made Public.

China will decide what is more economical and feasible. It will definitely take many other things into considerations.

You are posting what we already know, this infrastructure is already developed by them and is available to Chinese .

Please post the Proposed map of Pakistan Chinese Rail Link and how it is connected to Chinese proposed Silk Route

any gas pipeline without Pakistan between Iran and China will have to pass two three countries and they will have to lay big pipeline, thats why China plane this...

That is true. However it is intended to give India access to Afghanistan and thereby is contrary to Pak interests.

Trade and business is business, and politics is politics.
Really? Why does Iran not do soome trading and business with Israel? Leave the politics asides.

trade relations with its neighbours and regional powers, including Turkey, China and Russia.
