Breaking: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed fired by PM

I think if PTI has some good brains then it can boost dharna. If IK and his party now makes a case of security risk in shape of Nawaz Sharif as they had been blaming earlier now it got more power.

If a sitting PM and his cabinet can leak proceedings of a closed door meeting pertaining to national security then it is a classic case of putting own political agenda ahead and risking national security. So it is a fair chance for PTI to propagate this
But I really doubt they will plead their case that well. They will be made to wait by the Army since Army would want the Govt to stay so that they can use this as a bargain chip in many of their own stalled matters. Moreover, if Army doesn't use it and let the proceedings complete, even then they would not want the Govt to be toppled just like that before the proceedings are over.

I think this is too good for Pakistan but not that good for IK at least for now.

This is not an issue of civilians vs army this is about our national security we cannot allow such rats in key posts when we have war drums beating

Just wait, there are 5 names can be called anytime to appear before enquiry committee that includes Rana Sanaullah as well. Message is already delivered to PM.

Sir, I am confused. What is PMLN and the media cell? Thanks
Hired trolls by govt a lot of them the budget of that media cell is more than budgets for education of many districts :D

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz- the ruling party in Pakistan and it's media cell. Many PML-N supporters are member of this forum
It's amazing how closely any PTI supporter resembles a Trump supporter.

In the US, they complain about CTR all the time. Both supporters are drowning in conspiracy theories, us against them ideology etc. etc.

Ok, thank you. For a few minutes, I was trying to figure out what it meant. So its the ruling party. But is it a new thing to have a media cell? The Republicans blame the Democrats all the time to control the media. But I've always listened to those statements with a grain of salt. In today's modern world, every one uses the media for their purposes. I am sure that's the case for Pakistan's political system as well. Thanks

Sir, like i said in my other post. Is the ruling party the only one to have media trolls as you outlined? Its a pretty common process these days. All parties will use, influence and even buy the media when and as they can. Do other political parties not have their media cell, influenced, bribed or directly on their payroll? Thanks

Just wait and see.
Army has already "informed" the govt, what they want.

Sir, this has to be the most interesting post in the recent couple of days. Will you please shed some more light in terms of what it is that the Pakistan's powerful army wants from the civilians?

Pmln media cell is paid by the govt and no its not about media in general most media channels have a negative to neutral view of govt only 3-4 networks side with them its more about the social media cell that is run by the govt

Breach of National Security isn't something to be taken lightly.
All culprits will be investigated under the Army Act.
