N-deal with Pak could hit ties, India cautions China

crying again are we? :woot:
On one hand Indian media reports we would like Pakistan to get out of energy issues and on the other hand this... %*%&*# hypocrites ... :agree:

come on seriously for once show some honour .... Where is all that mighty India hype... you dont even have the balls to see Pakistan grow... and you talk about becoming super power!! :hang2:

This proves a theory though! India is not brave but backstabbing cunning neighbourly which will not face its rivals by looking into the eyes but by playing little silly games like a cry baby. :bunny:

I give up !! :wave::blink:

welcome to the world of diplomacy

Lets face it.

China has a lot to gain from India compared to what it will lose from Pakistan.

The Indo-China war scenario's have become recent history. Now the two nations have too much to lose if they ever fight each other. This is why talks of friendship are springing up every now and then.

:hang3: :hang3:

are you talking about same gains which Chinese companies accrued last month from india....lol
You guys even don't trust and allow Chinese companies to start business in india. Which gains and friendship you are talking about?

This is turning in a troll-fest, primarily led by the Indians. I can see a few bannings in this one.

Request to all Pakistanis: Please don't feed the Indian trolls and report their posts.

Btw, if anyone wanted to see evidence about the Indian rhetoric regarding India wanting a prosperous and stable Pakistan being all lies, look no further than this piece of news.

Once more we are faced with sensationalist tripe. It is interesting to see such a reaction coming from New-Delhi. Do they underestimate the genuine need Pakistan has for energy? We already have nuclear weapons that achieve our strategic requirements.

Pakistan is facing huge spikes in energy consumption from consumers including enterprise and industry, the national infrastructure is struggling to meet demand, regular power outages dampen the national economy and have a direct impact on investor, manufacturer confidence.

What we need now is Energy and we have a right to peaceful nuclear energy. Our neighbours and allies should show more maturity and understanding, after all a stable, economically viable Pakistan is good for the region.

It would be a lie to say that India wanted a stable and prosperous Pakistan. Reports like this prove that point despite what we see Indians saying (but not following up with action). Pakistanis need to see the Indian state for what it is and stop being apologists.

Pakistan was concerned of Indo-US Nuclear deal ,Now its Indian turn.India or Indians are not against stable pakistan but this nuclear deal will increase uranium enrichment capacity of pakistan (same concern for Pakistan in Indo-USdeal) which is a threat to us so India will oppose it.

well said brother! we should force our leaders to be same towards india as they are towards us. No need to be soft and friendly.

Agreed. India could have done much better. But instead they were more cynical. Personally, what i see is that Indians are not against you people. But what bothers them the most is your leadership. You cannot disagree to that. Tell me in 62 years have u had any single leader who can represent u on much more broader scale. Who can put forth ur concerns. Even if this deal fails, blame it on ur leadership not on India. The world is too big for us to survive.

I never stated India's best interest, i said "Regions" best interest. Last i checked Asia comprises of more then just India. I for one really don't care much for anything that comes out of India.

We are doing what is in our best interest and god willing, we will succeed. As for seeing Indian state for what it is, i like to keep all doors open.

It is the difference that will eventually make us the better of the two. Only time will tell.

Seriously, I feel the Civil N deal is required for any developing nation whether it is Pakistan or anyone else but question arises in this particular deal comes why Pakistan wants a deal only with China? We never had US as our proper ally and after getting banned from NSG after N Blast, India responded sensibly and come up with Civil deals with US and then ongoing discussion with Canada and France (Still not with Russia even being closest ally).

This N deal gets suspicious when it is still on going case that China helped Pakistan clearly with N Bombs technology and under this civil N-deal this "help" will be formalized with both the suspicious parties. Hence India has raised a concern and with in few days West and NSG group will also do the same. This caution is not for only Indo-China ties but impact others as well in near future.
