doesn't matter, USAF won't dare touch us because they know our limits.

on the other hand india better watch out if oil is discovered there.

No, china better watch out that India doesn't discover any more oil reserves at it's coasts. Becasue after $50 billion trade between china and india. China will be even closer to india. China will be our great ally to protect us from Western invasions to have stake in Indian oil monoply. just speculating no offense intended.

<1. 200-300 nukes vs 5000, who loses? and who gets injured but gets back up?>
Where did you get the info that China has 200-300 nukes (this is what's published but with caveat)? The fact is no one knows how many nukes China has.

You can calculate the devastation of 300 x 5mt nukes and 5000 nukes is overkill.

<That they started comparing itself with mighty USAF?>
Only Indians would consider the USAF mighty.

PLAAF record against USAF:
6) Dangdai Zhongguo Kongjun [China Today: Air Force], (Beijing: China Social Sciences Press, 1989). PLAAF Headquarters Education and Research Office, Kongjun Shi [History of the Air Force], (Beijing: PLA Press, November 1989). The PLAAF describes these air battles as occurring during involvement in "liberating Tibet," the "War to Resist America and Aid Korea," numerous engagements with Nationalist and U.S. aircraft over the Taiwan Strait, the "War to Aid Vietnam and Resist U.S. Aggression," and the 1979 "self-defensive counterattack" against Vietnam. During the Korean War, the Chinese Air Force reportedly shot down 330 American planes and damaged 95. During the 1958 Taiwan Strait crisis, PLAAF data indicates the air force and naval air force aircraft shot down fourteen and damaged nine aircraft. During the Vietnam War, the PLAAF states that its AAA units were involved in 558 battles, shooting down 597 U.S. aircraft and damaging 479. Like the figures cited during the Korean War and Taiwan Strait Crisis, they may not agree with Western figures. In addition to aircraft that its AAA shot down over Vietnam, the PLAAF history describes in detail how its pilots shot down three U.S. Air Force (one F-4B and two A-4B's) and two Navy (one A-3B and one A-6) aircraft and seventeen unmanned reconnaissance drones over or near Chinese territory. The official PLA Naval Air Force history also identifies two U.S. drones and four aircraft (F-4B, F-104C, F-4C, and A-1) that naval air force pilots shot down over Hainan Island. No air combat took place during the 1979 border conflict with Vietnam. The August 1998 issue of Xiandai Junshi is devoted to the 70th anniversary of the PLA and carries additional information about aircraft the PLAAF shot down during the 1950s and 1960s.

NOTE: Of course the US would dispute or not agree with the figures.

ur ideas are pretty stupid,

1. 200-300 nukes vs 5000, who loses? and who gets injured but gets back up?

2. India only needs nukes against china and pakistan, there is no need for missiles above 4000 km range and its a waste of money to develop them.

so you're admitting that if the US nukes india, it will never suffer any negative consequences?

can the USAF attempt to bomb beijing? a few might get shot down, but they can try

can the PLAAF bomb hawaii?

does the PLAAF have stealth aircraft?

In all out war USAF will convert PLAAF into dust. No need to assume anything else. They are too superior for 2nd grade PLAAF. US is mightiest and they will for many decades to come.

so which air forces are 1st grade?

No comparison at all, the USAF has retired jets that the Chinese haven't even thought of producing till now.

This is what Chinese members are saying that they are atleast 15 year behind USAF...

Please go through the thread before posting something to be consistent with the coarse of discussion.

The US Army is the best that can be projected beyound its home territory. The PLA, of course, is very strong in its own country or in a neighboring country that can be reached by truck and rail. But the PLA could never project itself to the mid-East, the Americas, Africa or Europe. The US Army has been sent all over the world. To do that requires tremendous logistics experience and capability that the PLA does not have.

China's power is only to defend itself and to be able to menace its nearest neighbors.

does the PLAAF have stealth aircraft?

yes, but they need some external help. we didn't kept our 4mt h-bomb for nulking someone but it did exist for a reason. and with its help, PLAAF can bomb whatever they want untill their fuel ran out.

however, being able to bomb somewhere doesn't equal to PLAAF is better then USAF.

however again, having better AF doesn't equal to winning the war. moreover, winning the war doesn't equal to winning the world neither.

can you tell me what jets did they retire in 15 Years and China hasn't produced a less capable than such?. When Posters say 15 years of difference....They mean by lack of 5th gen....J-10,J-10B are ranked as respected fighters with one 4th gen and other 4.5th same is the case with J-11A and B. Chinese are also testing SU-30 equivalent named J-11 BS. JF-17 is a 4th generation fighter. They are way better than the fighters USAF retired 15 Years ago (I guess you are referring to A-6, Crusader and Phantom)
