I grew up in Oman, beautiful outdoors. There is something about the stark desolation of the desert that is just breathtaking.

Always loved the family weekend trips - driving into the desert or into the mountains to some remote oasis or spring. Finding remote beaches, often tucked in little coves, along the endless coastline was another favorite.
