That is interesting if true. Its possible that they are being used as a proxy force as most of them are shias.
If India can successfully mediate between the two parties and establish some sort of balance of power, it would be very beneficial for the Gulf region and India as well.
I have heard that the PM might visit Iran pretty soon as well.

I don't think so. Its just moved into a slower scale process but it will be formed eventually. Lets wait till the Telangana panel submits its report in July.

Yeh, but it looks like no decision will be taken till a while. I don't really care as long as they don't create problems and chaos. Although I still think that other states have a stronger case for bifurcation than AP and they should be done first (like UP, Maha e.t.c.)
