All new CX-1 supersonic anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM) - Chinese Answer to Brahmos

You're the one that's incorrect. Tomahawk Block IV is a LACM and ASCM at the same time.

Heres the range:

Range:
Block II TLAM-A 1350 nautical miles (1500 statute miles, 2500 km)
Block III TLAM-C - 900 nautical miles (1000 statute miles, 1600 km)
Block III TLAM-D - 700 nautical miles (800 statute miles, 1250 km
Block IV TLAM-E - 900 nautical miles (1000 statute miles, 1600 km)

The US Navy -- Fact File: Tomahawk Cruise Missile

Watch the Youtube video:

The video will show the Tomahawk Block IV attacking a ship. Any more questions?
you don't understand me that first one is basically LACM with no capabilities of engaging ships at their extremes ranges last three may be antiship cruise missile, i am not saying that cruise missile is not converted to ASCM but their extreme range specially in blue water scenario it has difficulties to engage ships that all about i am saying:angel:

Those are outdated. Why do you think both China and US opted for the slower sea skimming missiles instead of these? It's not because they don't have the technology. Perhaps you should use your own advice.
except US, tell me china has slower sea skimming missiles, other than their old YJ-62, YJ-82, YJ-8 and their short ranged one, their all strategic ASCM is supersonic

Cruise speed of 3.5M at 17000m altitude

Cruise speed of 3.5M at 17000m altitude
so why brahmose, onyx and sunburn is called sea skimming missiles.because their terminal speed is well above mach 2 with sea skimming capabilites.

US is always ahead of the world, don't doubt it as our scientists all believe it and they are the true experts

Ok, here's something for those individuals who believe this system is a copy merely based on its appearance.

1. A similar configuration and profile of a system relative to another does not imply there is a link between the systems. Air-breathing nose-inlets (pardon the lack of technical jargon) are not exclusive for either this missile or the Oniks/Brahmos/Granit and neither is this engineering concept copyrighted by any group that built the aforementioned systems. Engineering similarities, in fact, should be expected for a system that adopts comparable roles, capabilities, versatility, and compatibility to another. This trend is observed in almost all passenger aircraft, ground vehicles, all military equipment, and these missiles are no exception.

2. There is simply no evidence that this missile is based off a Russian system. How would the design team build such a system without having access to such an example, unless they built the entire missile based off Google Images (which would imply an indigenous effort in its own right)?

3. Read the following. BrahMos’ Russian partner has no connection with Chinese CX-1 missile | Russia & India Report

very nice picture of futuristic missile. By the way indian scientists and Russian scientists already said that it will take years to mature brahmos like technologies. That's why we already started hypersonic missiles. When cx1 comes into play our hypersonic missile will be the next milestone for Chinese or Americans. Unlike supersonic Russia will induct the new version in numbers

It's nice to dream big and it's the right thing to do. But regarding hypersonic missiles, you're already declaring victory over China (and the US!?!!) in a race that's barely begun, especially given the fact that your "opponents" have much larger economies and corresponding R&D budgets than India.

In light of the fact that BrahMos I was mostly due to Russian expertise, it's best not to be too smug and boast about advanced Indian technology in a hypersonic missile that hasn't come to pass. It seems like many (not all) of your countrymen like to brag about running when they've barely learned to walk and most of the time it doesn't end up well for you guys. (check my signature for some obvious evidence of that trait.)

Thanks for ur advice on dreaming big . And I must tell you that our dreaming days are gone . History . It's time for action and dream even bigger . I declared supremacy of Hypersonic CM bramos over China and Americans because India is the only nation in the world to have stockpiles of World's most successful Cruise Missile . Right now as we speak Chinese and us must be working their hasss out to created superior or with same capabilities . But still now not successful. And what made you to thing Chinese already have bramos class weapon ? By this mock up on Air show. Come on now don't be so rude man . Chill . It's wi take at least 4 rears for ur PLA to induct test master and mature cx1 missile . By the time we will have many variants of bramos . Like Mini , air launched sub launched ship launched hypersonic bramos etc . Now u do ur own math .

Future is not too but far. Only time can tell . But we r human beings. Smarter than animals . We can predict the next course of action or happening . And for ur kind information this will have flow down effect on our projects . Think about if miniature version of Air launched brahmos Dan attain mach2/3 sneakily travel the way to the target undetected 300km then think about using this technology on our Agni or other missile series (may be already going on or in the future) tinkering and painting a mock won't give you the capacity to counter Bhramos World's most dangerous cruise missile . You and Americans don't have it but we posses. It's not Russian missile it's JV . Whi Which means Joint Venture between India and Russia. With 51% inovative components wr developed by India . Unlike paying Russians to build ur Attack Chopper , hide the facts an lie to ur people that u created it . It's treason what your doing . U loot someone s hard work just to become rich . These kid of attitudes are very unliked by a people.
Will you be friends with a person who's intentions are to steal ur idea or others ?

This is the world's most successful cruise missile.

I have only good things to say about the Brahmos Missile, but it has never been used in a combat situation. It's untested, while the Tomahawk has thousands of combat launches and successful strikes. And for the record this is the reason the US doesn't have a Brahmos type missile in service

All new CX-1 supersonic anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM) - Chinese Answer to Brahmos - read my post at the bottom of the page.

But the US does have a Brahmos type missile (it's not in service) - it can build them, it just doesn't see a need for supersonic weapons.

This is the US "Brahmos"

Brahmos may be the fastest cruise missile in the world... but this is debatable, but it is definitely not the most successful

You see now how Indians like to brag. They brag way above and beyond what they are capable of achieving.

LMAO. Yeah, sure. There's zero evidence for this. The only thing Indian about the Brahmos is the paint job. Also, the BrahMos is so superior that Russia has bought exactly zero BrahMos missiles. I think we'll have to agree to disagree about the "amazing" BrahMos.

Lol its made for India . And all you can do is to do silly cocounts like this . But the fact remains same we have it u don't . Live with ur cx1 show toy for the next 3 years or so . At that time we will enter into hypersonic . Ops it hurts ?

So it's a "joint" project (with Russia doing all the work) but Russia isn't allowed to buy it because it's "made for India"? That's a terrific example of an Indian mental somersault to rationalize why Russia doesn't want a mediocre weapon. Jai Hind! Jai BrahMos-tly Russian made missile! :D

We have discussed that even the paint is of Chinese origin
