I find the USSR break up painfully tragic I look at these 15 independent republics with scorn exception Baltic states but I really felt had the Soviets not abused their allies or China we could have been in a different place

It will definitely keep Israeli expansion in check and could have lead to an actual two state solution as for Europe it will be much more independent in foreign affairs Germany could have also been reunified much earlier under neutral regime
