Women fighter pilots - good for the PAF! good for Pakistan.
But India is a poor country. we cannot afford to have a fighter pilot trained and who is more likely to be out of flying fighter category within nine years time (or less) need atleast an year off when they are having babies, and...
no disprespect to Tom Cooper . He usually does a good job colalting and analysing information but his sources are all secondary - published articles etc.

Go to page 251 "Fg Offr Gandhi had fired at one...
Whether he is pakistani or paf is immaterial. judge the content , not the author. and i felt he was quite accurate . unfortunately his old site with all the tables etc is down.
Dude.. acig numbers are soooo outdated for both sides.
take for example, the indian kills
it is accepted that between the three, only two sabres were shot down
ditto for the pakistani version
sajad haider pretty much devastates the above claims in his book.
Good atleast you are reading it now.
I will ignore whatever intentions you attribute to me.. but the bottom line is - they are still unrecognised by the PAF..
Fat chance :D
no... i wont GO AWAY.. as you put it.
Check your PAF history again. they officially state that 35 in total were killed .
Now the thing is, I see all these pages of PAF shaheeds on the internet and in books. What exactly did these 35 poor souls do not to be included in any list...
spoken too soon. Your PAF History 1988 book Saga of Courage and Honour apparently lists Mustafa's name and shows him as having been awarded the SJ. Now i dont know (and dont care ) about why his wife wrote that. but its not 1994. His award was made much earlier if it appears in the 1988 book.
good for safi mustafa. but atleast his recognition has come in 1994 - right? its not like it came to light when sajad haider wrote about it in 2009.
that apart as i said earlier the thirty or so men who died with him are still unrecognised. not even their names are recorded in history.
unrecognized? He was recognised at that time itself - awarded the Sitara award just like Haider and the above.
The truly unrecognized and unrewarded people were the 30 or 40 PAF MOU airmen that were with Mustafa and killed along with him. No one even knows their names.
Why dont you just put me on ignore if you dont believe my posts.
He said it on the forum. go search for it, I have better things to do.
Yes my hobby is picking on PAFfanboys :cheesy:
ofcourse you only need to look here Pakistan Military Consortium :: www.PakDef.info
http://www.pakdef.info/pakmilitary/airforce/1971war/images/Log-book-Salimudin.jpg :D
Oh and Muradk has pretty much stated he is not salimuddin
sajjad haider's book -> "wrong - we destroyed only two MiG-21s, not nine" .. funny thing is the cover shows a painting with ten migs burnign, while inside he says thats wrong claim.
