Asia-Pacific to launch talks on one of world's biggest free trade zones

This RCEP FTA is a rival to the American-led TPP. TPP excludes China. RCEP excludes America. China vs US rivalry is all over the place in every area whether it is economic, military, politics, corporate brands, Olympics games, currency, etc.

    Am I Chinese

Most of the western expats living in Hong Kong look down on Chinese people as inferior humans. Infact Hong Kong is a breeding ground for the most anti-China western expats. Hong Kong also hosts western NGOs and other media that spew anti-China BS. The Hong Kong government don't do anything to...

U.S. Intensifies Military Encirclement of China

With the emergence of China as the world's second-largest economy and its concomitant renewal of (comparatively minor) territorial claims in the East China Sea and South China Sea, the stage is set for a U.S.-Chinese confrontation of a nature and on a scale not seen since before the Sino-Soviet...

    China's new attack helicopter

I believe it is currently using the less powerful but domestically-made WZ-9 engine (1000kw). But it will be replaced with the more powerful WZ-16 engine (1500kw). The WZ-16 engine has the same power as the engine in the Apache.

China to License Produce Tu 22 Bombers from Russia

China needs a supersonic strategic bomber. I think a strategic stealth bomber is under development in China.

With eye on Beijing, US signals ‘full embrace’ of Delhi

US is on a full contain china policy in Asia. India, Japan, Philippines are just being used. This is good news for the PLA, as more funds will be poured into the military. And by the members of the politburo standing committee, you can see hardliners have gained more power over liberals. Seems...

In the first 3 quarters of 2012: Indian gold consumption was 612 tons. Chinese gold consumption was 605 tons. Forging of the Mandarin mermaid-Ye Shiwen

We all know Indians' definition of freedom: freedom to starve, freedom to reduce GDP from doubling that of China to 1/5 only, freedom to illiteracy, freedom to get near-0 medal in Olympics. In fact, freedom to achieve none of the humanities as human being but reducing to quasi-animal level...

Chinese and Korean players throw match: Olympic shame

Morality is a useless thing imo. You should do everything to win. I played sport, when you are in the heat of battle, you do anything to win. It's like a football player taking a dive to get a foul. Some don't like it, but I don't care, I think morality is a bunch politically correct nonsense.

Chinese and Korean players throw match: Olympic shame

Why did they make it look so obvious, should have been more subtle and no on would notice. Good plan, but bad execution. Just make the match close and subtlety miss the crucial points. If we won, we would still only have one team in the final due to both our teams meeting in semifinal, we...

Chinese and Korean players throw match: Olympic shame

I'm not sure I would call this cheating, yes it's manipulating the draw but none of them took drugs. For me cheating means taking drugs. In basketball you foul in purpose to stop the clock, is that cheating?
