Second JF-17B Prototype with more composite material undergoing flight tests

It's a prototype not a standard operational aircraft. The hinges and the old school pitot can be seen

Second JF-17B Prototype with more composite material undergoing flight tests

Chinese cannot upgrade them without permit..., yes wet thrust has been increased overall by installing new fuel pump The fact is that the project being a JV I would say both have same contribution. And yes PAC has a wind tunnel but new one is being built under Project Azm and it will be used to...

Second JF-17B Prototype with more composite material undergoing flight tests

Stop making such assumptions PLEASE I exactly know where is the use of composites in this aircraft, I can mark it for you. The fact will remain fact that green paint indicates areas with fuel :)
  4. Gallium Nitride

Second JF-17B Prototype with more composite material undergoing flight tests

Yes i mentioned the same :D, for correction inlet literally means intake. Block III has two variants (dual seat and single seat) Dual seat serial production is starting from May 2019 (it resembles the current JF-17B) Engine is the same... First 22 dual seaters will be produced After 22 dual...

Second JF-17B Prototype with more composite material undergoing flight tests

They are hinges, whoever is claiming them to be strakes is lying, and the engine being used in B is the same RD-93. During recent trials JF-17B has reached Mach 1.3 at 3000 ft, and is capable of as much as JF-17A. And yes I have updates on Block 3. What do you want to know?

Second JF-17B Prototype with more composite material undergoing flight tests

Lol! It's upto you to agree with me, I am luckily one of the few here who have knowledge about each and every bit of the JF-17, and I am also working on its simulator and have personally seen this JF-17B (also saw it today lol). And observe the picture I've attached, the block II aircraft only...

Second JF-17B Prototype with more composite material undergoing flight tests

Bloody hell no, you just seem to not listen rather make stories of your own. The yellow and green paint is to signify the areas containing fuel, and for your information, here's the official F-35 structure clearly showing fuel in the vertical fins PAC's target of this year is production of 12...
  8. Gallium Nitride

Second JF-17B Prototype with more composite material undergoing flight tests

Vertical tail does not house fuel? Seriously I'm fed up of people spreading rumours that these green areas indicate composites. And about your claim, do check the F-35's vertical tail as it houses fuel. They indicate fuel for god's sake.
  9. Gallium Nitride

Second JF-17B Prototype with more composite material undergoing flight tests

And ofcourse for the absurd claims, no this PT-02 is exactly the same as PT-01, idk why these guys are claiming it to be different
  10. Gallium Nitride

Second JF-17B Prototype with more composite material undergoing flight tests

For all those making guesses whether the green indicated areas are fuel or composite. This definitely is "fuel" which I have confirmed and these green sections can also be seen on JF-17A prototypes except for the vertical tail and front fuselage because JF-17B has recovered the fuel compromised...

JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 7]

Delta wing configuration also brings a lot of drag due to lesser wing aspect ratio which affects the aircraft's ability to sustain max turn rates. Trapezoidal wing configuration is found in all 5th generation aircraft and is also the most suitable

Tejas gets swankier! Indian Railways upgrades aircraft-like semi-high speed train

For all my curious Indian fellows, PAC holds the main tender for the JF-17. And the Aircraft Manufacturing Factory of PAC is an ISO certified CNC precision machining under Boeing Quality control which means parts are manufactured from completely raw material not only for the JF-17, but also for...

JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 7]

    JF-17B Updates, News & Discussion

Ugly looking? I see it flying every other day and I bet you would like it more than the single seater when it flies It's just a very sleek design. In this pic ACM Sohail Aman is having a check ride in JF-17B while being escorted by another JF-17A
