Don’t underestimate these folks.

They started with Toshakhana, the case fell off (as Sharifs, Zardaris, Bajwas which were outright outright illegal), then cipher which will fall like a pack of cards.

Other cases waiting in line are Al Kadir trust (without cases against Hussain Nawaz and Malik Riaz) and then other backlog of cases which establishment will slap IK with.

The idea is to keep IK busy in jail through the kangaroo courts even if it means institutions are defunct.

The Al Qadir jail trial will also surely now be declared illegal.

But certainly a time for caution rather than celebration.

The Khaki Criminals will pull something else out from their bloodstained sleeves.

Key to note is that the same judge overseeing the cipher trial will continue hearing it as per today's written order. And there isn't much faith held in him.

Secondly, a jail trial can be held if all legal processes are met. The issue to date has been that legal processes haven't been met.

That throws up the question whether it will still be a jail trial, but with certain boxes needing to be ticked by the caretaker Khaki govt first.

So the chances of relief seem slim at first glance. Will have to see what the legal minds have to say and what this practically means for IK.
