Police state under PMLN... scared of social media ..

I've read it and I must have missed something. What is it you wanted to point out to him, sir?

Leaving aside the usual instituitional bs language.
"PTA said more than 112,000 fake IDs were blocked on facebook"
To me thats a clear indication of a engineered trend.
There were genuine posts, im not denying that, but a lot of them were fake and promoted by some political party.

O bhai parh to lo, phir cmnt karna.
Removing contents won't help anything. This is ongoing. You block one today, 30 more appear next few minutes. Institutions only needs to perform their constitutional duty and that's it. Don t worry about social media.

PTA is understaffed.

The cyber crime laws dictate far more than just blocked access.

If the content is fake and the intentions of the person behind it, are malicious, then surely it should be removed. Period.

As far as the instituition's actions and their constituitional duties are concerned, i agree with you.

Social media is a tool, the sooner you realize this the better. Look at the whole "arab spring" which was promoted by sm, what they got in return? misery.
