So recently saw this full interview of Abhijit-Iyer Mitra, some kind of South Indian social commentator, who travelled extensively in Central Asia, Iran and the Arab world. He discusses their cuisine in detail.

He basically says that Iranian and Turk diet is severely lacking in vegetables, and that they overly eat a lot of meat. He also says their cuisine is lacking in flavor and spices.

Would any Iranian care to comment on your cuisine, or someone who has been to Iran and knows about their dietary habits?

I truly believe we South Asians have the best cuisine, it has the most variety of spices and the most flavor-ful.
