LOL, Chola just raid and suck, never build anything. Chola raid Sumatra Island, never stay there for long and never touch other Islands like Java Island. You can hear the second video narration as there is story about Prambanan Temple in English. Prambanan Temple is built in 9 Century under Sanjaya Dinasti in Java Island

We have huge Hindu Empire like Majapahit, also other Hindu Kingdoms. Majapahit is the last Hindu Empire in Indonesia. They are defeated by Java Sultanate (Muslim) and the people in Bali were Javanese before they migrate to Bali Island.

Some of Temples I put in this thread are new (Built after Indonesia reach independent) like Pura Blambangan in East Java, Pura Aditya in Jakarta, and Pura Parahyangan Agung in Bogor.

Largest Pura in Bali, Pura Besakih, has been under renovation as well during modern time so you can see modern building and facilities there.

Sumatra Island is close to Malaysia/Singapore and in Malaysia/Singapore there are many Indians. So not surprise to see many of them become Indonesian citizens. They have migrated before Indonesia become independent nation.

In province like Aceh and Riau Islands, not really rare either to see South Asian looking Indonesian (mix already).
