Before you start crying about Israel not being the 4th strongest military, Israel has the best and most concentrated air defenses in the world, the most skilled and experienced pilots in the world, all of its active tanks are armed with the best APS in the world and it has a huge modern tank force, second to none cyber capability, second to none intelligence gathering capability, second to none assassination capability, the best ATGMs in the world, one of the most motivated to fight population in the world, one of the only countries with ICBMs and nuclear weapons, proved to be able to quickly mobilize hundreds of thousands of experienced, high value reservists that are constantly training up until age 49 and constantly defeated a bunch of Arab nations ganging up on it with way more weaponry, manpower and superior Soviet technology.

Most effective air defenses lmao... You air defenses were penetrated at will in that 11 day war from 2 years ago.. Iron dome is has holes and gaps.

Israel is not even top 20 in the Power index...

If Israel and Hezbollah were to fight tomorrow Israel won't be able to defeat them conventionally. They have everything they need to stop Israeli armed forces conventionally. Tunnels, missiles, anti-tanks, IEDs, weaponry and drones

Kosher state is a proxy - If you want to gauge then factor in US/West, without, it would still be number 1, 2 or 4 but from the bottom of the list.

Calm every body, that is just survey. The result shows thinking ability of Western middle class, college graduates

Oh boy Indonesia is behind Lebanon, but OK this is good to see Western educated folks quality

Methodology: How the 2022 Best Countries Were Ranked

Here's a look at the global perception data behind our rankings.

Choosing Survey Participants
To understand how countries are perceived, we endeavored to survey engaged citizens who are broadly representative of the global population, with an emphasis on those who would deem the topic and findings most relevant to their lives.

Self-identification in demographic questions distinguished respondents into three defined groups: informed elites – college-educated individuals who consider themselves middle-class or higher and who read or watch the news at least four days a week; business decision-makers – senior leaders in an organization or small-business owners who employ others; and general public – adults at least 18 years old who were nationally representative of their country in terms of age and gender.

Individuals who were likely to fit these descriptions were targeted and sent the link to an online survey powered by the Kantar Profiles Audience Network. A total of 17,991 individuals from 36 countries in regions spanning the globe – the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East – were surveyed. Of the respondents, 8,061 were informed elites, 4,536 were business decision-makers and 8,035 were considered general public. Some respondents were considered both informed elites and business decision-makers.

Regardless of demographics or participant type, each individual's responses weighed equally in the results.

Data Source: About the Survey
Survey participants were given a random subset of countries and country attributes to consider. The combinations were presented in a grid form where participants were prompted to associate countries with various characteristics. If a participant indicated that they were not familiar with a country, it was removed from their survey.

Each participant considered about half of the country attributes for about a third of the countries. The more times an attribute-country pair was checked off, the higher the attribute score was for that country.

In addition to considering countries in terms of attributes, each survey participant was asked to respond to a set of questions gauging perceptions of the state of the world today on a variety of topics, including world events, the economy, the environment, leadership and social issues.

You forgot to mention billions and billions of US tax payer money to prop up the only apartheid state in the world since it's colonial establishment.

yes but only with US backing of uninterupted supply of miltary hardware...i dont think Israel can produce in scale if it required to face say Russia or China in war

Penetrated? 97 percent interception rate, no one else even has the capability to intercept rockets at a remotely cost efficient way, only Israel. And once Iron Beam will exist rockets would not be a threat.

It's a fact the entire next generation defense lineup of the US will be based on Israeli defense systems, like the PAAC 4 (David's Sling), SkyCeptor (Iron Dome) and their next GMD (Arrow 3/4)

Only retards rank military power through Global Fire Power index, it only accounts for quantity, according to GFP Russia should have won long ago against Ukraine but it didn't right?

Tunnels? We blew up every tunnel in Gaza in 11 days, hundreds of terrorists still inside. Same will happen in Lebanon. ATGMs? Trophy makes it useless. IEDs? Israeli combat engineering corps has insane new technologies that have solved this problem.

Less than 1 percent of our GDP lol

This doesn't matter, talking about Israel as a fighting force.

If Israel was instead of Ukraine we would have already been at Moscow's gates long ago.

It would be a pleasure for Iran to defeat #4 and when done, Iranians convert Israel into a "Persian" colony and allow the jews to remain and learn "farsi"...My ancestors will be pleased that for a second time Persian have saved the jews and this time around instead of letting them loose in the world we will convert them to obedient citizens of the empire...:azn::azn:

Focus on converting your own revolting cities. Maybe focus on providing water to your citizens as well.

Wonder how Iran's non existent GDP is going to be affected by all of the people that strike.

You have Russia at no 1 and Ukraine at no 8. Their metrics must be pretty silly. Is Ukraine really stronger than France and Germany?
I just like to troll people lmao

Military rankings are pretty dumb tbh, they dont seem to really account for the various complexities and requirements a country's military has to face and live upto. That said, the Israeli military is no doubt one of the best

Easy benny...Do not get nervous...You will be first to learn farsi...:p:

Lol. Poor Beny wants us to believe that Russia is the strongest military power in the world😂 That list is a joke. Israel does not belong even in the top 10.
