lol, when the temperatures hover right at freezing for most of the year and all that's around is trees and snow, you have to create something to have fun.

At least the cold and the snow makes you strong and hearty and you can deal with it by getting warm or taking layers off. Extreme heat and high temperatures make life unbearable and very difficult to manage that unless there are large bodies of water, it's almost impossible to endure the outdoors.
