If you check their wingspan, they are not exactly the same. If you use the bottom Su-34, you must account for the difference between the two.

To answer the question, why are you getting a smaller value than 15.7m is because I think you were measuring the bottom Su-34, which is flying slightly higher than the top Su-34 and the IL-78 tanker.
