Are these Thermobaric Bombs?

Turkey is making the Shish Kebap out of the Russian made armors, artillery, tanks, AD systems etc. at will using even micro and mini thermobaric ammos!! Best part is they’re indigenously made at a very low cost! The Pak General Staffs must be having a close look at it...

Basically if India uses the Cold start doctrine and its troops end up in an open desert on the Pak side, these weapons will be devastating. They are designed to blow just a few meters above the ground and turn a very large area into a fireball. Looks a tiny bit like a nuclear explosion.

Any personnel on the back of a truck or pickup or exposed in any way (window down) will be burnt alive. Roasted. Many tank and armoured vehicle optics will also suffer damage. Armor itself will not be harmed. Soft skinned vehicles will suffer damage.

Just in case some dumbass RSS official thinks that a failed offensive or two at the hands of tactical nukes justifies turning South Asia into the condition it would be if PPP ruled the Mughal empire.

Hi,

You missed the most crucial part---.

It is not the burning or raosting---. How thermobaric bombs work is a fine mist of highly combustible material is dispersed over a large area---and then it ignites in a big extremely high speed whooooosh---and what that does is suck out all the oxygen from the air---creating a partial vacuum.

Every bit of air will be sucked out of every nook and cranny and nose and throat and lungs and soldiers or the public would die of asphyxiation---.

Humans and animals will die a terrible death from oxygen sucked out of their lungs and from the air---.

Remember that Arnold Schwarzneger movie where he turn on on a ancient reactor and gets blow out a contained area and is starved for air momentarily---well he survived---people will not survive this in the area of blast---.

Their lungs will be sucked out of the body from their mouths---. Just imagine that death---. It is beyond horrific---.

Daddy still knows best---hehehhehehehe.

Yes you're right, I did miss out on that. cheers.

Hi,

I would say that what you mentioned would more towards napalm---.

Now just imagine this battle scenario of how horrific the death and suffering of those would be who are on the periphery of the explosion---some deaths would be horrendous and shocking---.

These thermobaric type of weapons need to be banned---they place inhumane suffering on the victims--.

The pictures from thermobaric weapon used in afghanistan at the begining of the Afghan war need to be shown in public and the horrific nature of the damage exposed---.

I am totally against the usage of this weapons of this type---.

Pakistan and india need to sign against the usage of these weapons---.

If I recall correctly, they also have a change in pressure effect which is also deadly. In addition to all the other stuff they do.

Just thinking aloud - could also be useful in high altitude combat as oxygen is very precious up there. @PanzerKiel thought you may find this interesting. Imagine climbing up to an Indian post and facing no resistance, and seeing them all on the floor, half of them dead, the other half to sophocated to fight back.

You may put to add , that in high altitude warfare, such explosions are likely to trigger massive avalanches and slides which are likely to do serious damage to both parties....

There are small versions of them. Even mini versions like on the TB-2 drone that Turkey flies.

Actually drone size wont matter, but the type of ordnance it drops.....and then there are places where even a small explosion can trigger big avalanches.

Are they better than Cluster Bombs in wrecking havoc on Armours?

Well they are not as deadly as nukes
