Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar has said that talks with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are on hold, adding that Pakistan will continue its operations to take them on "until they get rid of the menace".

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, the DG ISPR said that the ceasefire expired on December 9 last year, adding that Pakistan started talking to TTP at the request of Afghanistan's present rulers.

"The ceasefire was a confidence-building measure taken ahead of talks with these violent non-state actors on the request of the current Afghan government," he said.

However, he said there were some problems and conditions that were non-negotiable from our side and "so there is no ceasefire".

"There is no ceasefire, we are fighting, we are taking them on and are conducting operations everyday and we will continue to do so till the time we get rid of this menace."

Radd-ul-Fasaad Operation

While talking about Radd-ul-Fasaad Operation in the year 2021, the major general said that 6,000 intelligence based operations were carried out which helped dismantle terrorist networks. The DG ISPR added that on the basis of 890 threat alerts issued by the intelligence agencies during this period, about 70% possible terror threats were averted.

The DG ISPR also said that no armed person or group can be allowed to take law into their hand.

Those lal masjid are cucks and fanboys and sympathizers

The real grunt work is a network of Afghans inside Pak and in Afg coordinating efforts for arms supply and intel.

Are TTP terrorist afghan or Pakistani?
Pakistani tribal men who tried to copy Afghan Taliban.
Mainly a ploy to remove government influence from Af Pak border , so that smuggling can be done freely, the main source of income for tribes.
While the rest of us can lose half of our income in taxes and bills , they don't even have electric meters, and taxes? What fish is that.

For Taliban or TTP, this guy will remain "Kaala punjabi" no matter how many flags he raises. Taliban is an extremely racist regime, based on Pushtoon or other ethnic supremacy, disguised in religion.
In the 90s our imam masjid was Afghan Tajik and he used to get visitors from Afghanistan, during first Taliban government. They told us that Afghan Taliban is biased towards Pushtoons and exclude other ethnicities. That resulted in Northern alliance uprising which overthrew Taliban.

Where are those who were abusing others when they questioned wisdom behind negotiating peace with terrorists? It was bound to fail bcz as Einstein once said stupidity is to try again and again expecting different results. It was such a
depressing moment for people who love their country bcz that was nothing short of surrender. Although I must question the wisdom behind agreeing to negotiate just bcz Afghani Talibs requested to do so.

They are all afghans or afghan wannabes
