Turkey seeks partners for TF-X fighter program amid fiscal uncertainty

But it is your blind support for Turkey that prevents you from seeing thing a bit differently.

If Turkey makes even a screw, you have an orgasm. Not just you, some others in here as well.

Projecting is a true and tried tactics of every chauvinist.

476$ billion dollars debt.

But 10 years ago "haha poor Gayreece bankrupt,I buy you for 1 dollar"

better worry about your huge debt (Greece )
Turkiye has one of the lowest external debt in Europe to compare with GDP

FRANCE : $7.04 trillion ( 253% of GDP )
ITALY : $2.51 trillion ( 141% of GDP )
SPAIN : $2.26 trillion ( 170% of GDP )
Switzerland : $1.82 trillion ( 285% of GDP )
Belgium : $1.28 trillion ( 269% of GDP )
Sweden : $956 billion ( 159% )
Austria : $757 billion ( 165% )
Norway : $721 billion ( 133% )
Finland : $614 billion ( 203% )

Greece : $350 billion ( 175% )

Turkiye : $444 billion ( 55% of GDP )

Like some other users have pointed though, somehow life in Greece is better for the average Greek than Turkey for the average Turk. Purchasing parity in general.

Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) per capita

Turkiye : $41.412
Greece : $39.478

also Turkiye is far better than Greece in infrastructure quality
( better buildings , airports , highways , high speed rail lines , hosptals , luxury hotels , bridges , dams , factories , universiteis , stadiums , techno parks , shopping malls , defense industry , etc )

You remind me of all those who mocked us online during the mid-2010s while boast of F-35s,S-400s and Altay. And in 2019 onwards, things started changing. The lira was crushing, they didn't get F-35s,they still hadn't produced the Altay,on the contray we got Rafale,we got F-16Vs,we were allowed to get F-35s and the economy started getting better after a whole decade.

Turkiye has its own agenda with KAAN , KIZILELMA and ANKA-3 to become one of top 5 in the world
( USA , China , Turkiye , The UK , Russia )

Greece is only buying
Turkiye is developing its own weapons to become real military power

ALTAY Tank is ready for mass production since 2018
but Germany imposes engine embargo on Turkiye
in 2025 indigenous 1.500 hp engine BATU will be ready for mass production of ALTAY Tank

btw why are you always talking about only one project ( ALTAY ) ?

Turkish Defense Industry has over 800 military projects
from UCAVs to AD Systems , from Missiles to Warships ..
dozens of game changer weapons were materialized

“As for Pakistan, I wonder what exactly it can bring to the table. Not money, obviously. Technological know-how? More questions than answers,” he told Defense News.

Among G-20 countries for which data is available, China saw the highest annual growth in the second quarter with 6.3%, followed by Indonesia (4.9%), Türkiye,( 3.8% ) and Mexico ( 3,5 % )

Just for correction. Indonesia Q2 economic growth is 5.2 percent and Q1 is 5.01 percent.

4.9 % is projection from OECD and World Bank for whole year while IMF projection is 5 %.

Last year World Bank also project Indonesia grow at 4.9 % while the reality is 5.3 %.

India is the strongest in Q2 at 7.6%

maybe they looked at data for only 4 g-20 countries. india's q2 gdp growth was 7.8%.

Same news
So sad @MMM-E
Seems that Turkey will have to rely on old junk F16 for a while....

The author of the article is known to write bs about Turkiye. In one of his articles he wanted Turkiye to be kicked out of NATO so that the US could attack Turkiye. Basically everything he writes is from his imagination without substance.

It is not one article, but several ones speaking of the same thing.
It is well known that inflation rate is huge in Turkey, that impoverishment of the population is growing and that the country will face a big credit repayment these newt 12 months. So the financial load of a modern fighter is not surprisingly in the viewfinder.

No worry.
Rafale road map is made up to F6, ie 2040. F7 was already promised to India.

No. this is the only article equating finding partners for a 5th generation fighter development with financial difficulties.

Turkiye will develop and induct KAAN even if there is no other partners to the program. Having partners on the other hand will help reduce the cost per unit and make a lot more affordable for Turkiye and customer countries to induct them in larger numbers. Turkiye, is currently aiming of a cost per unit at around $100 million dollars. To achieve this number, several hundreds of KAAN needs to be produced.

lol

Bekdil is nothing but a mugget when it comes to Turkish defence industry, same shit like 10 years ago. Bashing the industry, looks like he is not getting payed so he is going full bs mode. What makes greece citizens happy:yahoo:. Well KAAN is going very well and end of the year it is going to fly.

The road is long and hard between a first flight of a proto (which is nothing else than an aero show bird with big engines, as Rafale A was at his time) and a mature fighter with a complete weapon system.
10 years is a minimum. A very minimum.
Good luck.

No. You find the same news on another media.
And more important, it is well known for years that the global economic situation is bad.
