We need to repeal the blasphemy laws and [replace?] them with hate laws. You speak anything bad about any other religion, you should get a civil fine and possibly criminal punishment (that includes maulvi sahibaan speaking against Ahmedis and Shias and Barelvis).

As near as I can tell, every religion hates other religions, if only slightly, as a matter of identity; otherwise there would be no reason for its membership to switch allegiance to another religion. Therefore when you forbid people to say bad things about religions you must surely threaten your own religious identity, even belief in G-d. And once that is gone, theists fear, people will believe in absolutely anything with nothing to restrain them save their own desires.

That is a broad brush and a very extensive prediction in one paragraph. Even a book cannot do justice to such a big argument.

However, I do agree that religions hate the free market of faith. Protectionism is the way of all religions.

Let them abuse, why should Muslims care? It's not like they are physically harming you. Just ignore it and move on with your life. Fundamentalist Mullahs kill people, 'blasphemers' don't, especially if they are mentally sick.

Why don't you use the blasphemy law against terrorists? After all, they are distorting religion to get people killed. Why aren't you worried about that?
