smells like a propaganda, dont really think that turkic yurt dwelling people should be brought on par with sahabas and their jihad.

That is really uncalled for. Every Muslim has contributed to Islam and its progress in their own way. Belittling someone, simply owing to their race is stooping very low, and reflects badly on you, rather than the people you are trying to belittle.

Translation is so off it is hard to watch. In one instance they are referring Crusaders as Kafirs when in Urdu it is Salaibi.
I have watched the whole series with English subtitle.

In over 1400 years we have many stories of Heroes to tell... To discount everything and just worship the Sahaba period only... Is really disingenuous and frankly boring...

Yes, it’s true the period belonging to Resulullah (PBUH) and Sehaba-i Ikram is the best age. However, from his Ummet many luminous Zats would periodically arrive, and their status would be equal to that from the Prophets (AS) from the Beni Israil in some extents...

As for the Ottoman Empire, it’s establishment was at the hands of the highest Ulema and Evliya of the time. Mevlana Jelaleddin Rumi (RA) gave the good tiding of a great Muslim Empire consisting of 36 just rulers to Ataman Bey, who was later named Osman by his father-in-law and spiritual guide Sheyh Edebali (RA) as he handed over a sword of the Third Halife Hazret-i Osman (RA) to him..

The 36th and the last Ottoman Sultan was Vahdettin Han, who was a great Alim of his time and composed an Ombudsman in Islamic Jurisprudence. When the entire Hanedan was being sent to the exile as the Saltanat was abolished, do you know what was his last act before boarding on the ship? He gave his cigarette case to his ADC so that he could return it to the Devlet Hazine! Match this and be my guest to criticize the Ottoman Empire 24/7....

The purpose of the turkic invasion was hardly islamic to begin with, they wanted land and wealth, property, they had no jihad in mind, they even used emasculated african slaves in their harems, they were not doing any jihad or had any intenton thereof, to show this misguided propaganda series and a fantasy to adore people who were involved in killings, rapes, loot etc is misoriented esp during holy month of Ramazan. It will be like glorifying mehmud ghaznavi's raids in india as a jihad and ghaurid/mughal raids as jihad, no they werent.

Much better with all their weaknesses n wrong doings to watch this rather than listening to munafiq secular libtards who call themselves Muslim yet for opportunities want to sound very intellectual n paint religion as backward tool to control humans.
Much better than watching rom-coms, GoT type vulgar crap , hopping into the couch with huge popcorn box n glued to stuff like 300, pretty woman, Airforce 1 etc etc etc.... Bhot zehni ghulami krli iss society ne now give it a Break huh...

The funny fact is Seljuks were rivals of Ghaznavids back in the time. They even had a war, which Ghaznavids lost..
Im sure most Pakistani people dont know about it..
