China: No Changes to 'No First Nuclear Strike Policy'

India's entire nuclear arsenal is only about 1 megaton in total.

One single Chinese nuke is around 3 megatons each. Total arsenal is around 294 megatons.

No contest at all.

In the future, China's nuclear arsenal will perhaps have less megaton nukes, but more 100-500kt miniaturized advanced warheads in greater number which is used to fit into more SSBNs.

US has 3000 of 100kt W-76 and 400 of 475kt W-88, that's a total of 490 megatons of power which composes about 80% of US' current nuclear deterrence.

In the past, China has very few SSBNs, so we made more landbased megaton nukes for more intimidation.

There is nothing called no first use policy either it is china or india or pakistan. The day there is question of existence no first use policy will be the first to go down the drain.

India does not have NFU against China. India can strike China-Pakistan first with nuclear strikes.

The Indian members should really spread the news. Chinese thermonuclear (i.e. fusion) weapons are roughly 100 times more powerful than Indian atomic (i.e. fission) weapons.

Thermonuclear and atomic weapons are completely different. They are both nuclear, but the power of the sun (e.g. fusion) is far more awesome than mere fission.

Do not confuse Indian fission nuclear weapons with Chinese thermonuclear weapons. India has a firecracker and China has a city-buster.

No thread on China's nuclear weapons would be complete without the history-setting first thermonuclear explosion.

"On June 17 1967, China revealed its true military power.

At 00:19, a Chinese H-6 bomber dropped the first Chinese hydrogen bomb. It exploded with a force of 3.3 megatons. It marked the date when China entered the thermonuclear era."

Thats what you say!

Substantiate your statement please!

Do not equate Indian fission nuclear weapons with Chinese thermonuclear weapons. India has a firecracker and China has a city-buster.

Yeah, a megaton nuke would completely annihilate a metropolitan city with less than 10% of survivors.

Atomic bomb did not even completely annihilate Hiroshima or Nagasaki which are small-sized cities mostly built with bamboo structures.

Are you here just to troll about India or are you so dumb that you don't have any knowledge?:sick::sick:
India has "NO FIRST USE POLICY" since we develloped the nuclear weapons.

What about what ashok said?

India is capable of making 200 KT warhead, which is no wonder. So each MIRV with 5 of those becomes a city buster as well.

India has enough fissile material to bring nuclear winter to China and Pakistan.

But I said before, India *can* use its nuke arsenal first, not that it *will*.

India has "NO FIRST USE POLICY" since we developed the nuclear weapons.
